by the way the basic movement of changing the card is a old french one (just from Robert Houdin books - 18xx) called "enfile" . In fact is a variation of the original movement.

Yes it is called Two card monte, but it's a very old trick. I Dont think David Blaine invented it.. I could be misstaking tho'..
