Throwing out my old/expired/broken Makeup

Thanks for posting this. It's always good to remember to replace your old stuff regularly. Luckily it will be Jan-Feb 2014 before I have to do a complete dump again. I just bought all new makeup for this very reason.

please do follow the mascara and lier 3 month rule i almost always go over that time with mine cuz i dont use a lot and i almost alwyas get pink eye or infections and they are rightttt and should follow that rule

there is expirationsdate but they normally comes in codes, so it's not easy for us normal costumers to know how long the products will last. the bottle has a code if you look closely. check with the company what the code mean.

There's actually a little picture with a number that says how long the makeup lasts. It has a small open tub followed by a number and the letter m. like 3M for 3 months 12M for 12 months etc.

well my mom has this really old lancome eyeshadows that she used like 5-10 times in the last 15 years lool and she gave it to me cause she doesn`t use it at all ..so I disinfected it like I do all my make-up every now and than^^ if it looks gross or if I used the same brush for 2 things etc.. and It doesn`t break me out nor does it itch or anything :S and the girl at the store told me you can use an eyeliner or mascara for like a year

there is no exp. date but the product does not keep the same smell as far as lipstick and glosses with makeup it cakes shadows never act up i have found that ivorysoap is the best for brushes

there actually is an expiration date for makeup, theres a small illustration of a jar being opened somewhere on the packaging and there will be a number inside the jar. that number is how many months after opening the packaging it's recommended to use.

makeup containers actually have a sticker, which says after how many months it expires. I've seen those on all of my makeup, lipsticks, nailpolishes ect.
