  • You are such a virgin.....

  • That one was epic! How long was the setup?

  • @ProgressiveResources Thanks, PR! This took about 12 hours...

  • how many sticks ??

  • @speedstackstaiwan 3100 as in the title and description ;)

  • 100 likes! WHO WHOO!

  • @CosbyTheCaterpillar Whoo, hoo!

  • Is there a way to connect the square weaved stick bombs to the herringbone start?

  • @metalcotc Two ways: elevate the stick bomb to the height of the herringbone, then have the first stick of the herringbone rest on the stick bomb. Or just have the start of the herringbone sitting over the bomb so that the explosion knocks it loose.

  • Hey, folks, I just want to say that you should all check out the Video Response "World Record Spin Win" by TheComputerItself. He invented a new chain-reaction technique that I think has a lot of potential, and yes, it is most likely a world record because nobody seems to have invented it before...

  • oh, I watched a video of your entry on america's got talent. Sucks that happened bro your work is amazing

  • @1000Chrisx Thanks, Chris!

  • the new world record is 4500 sticks...

  • @Jinjon27 I could try to beat it, but since my current world-record video isn't getting diddley-squat for views, why bother? Besides, I had a really great idea--kinetic firsts. If I'm the first person in the world to do something, that's a claim that's impossible to beat...

  • @lunatim yes, i guess that is a great idea! you can't break a "first person to..." world record! now, just come up with an idea that is creative involving herringbones or stick bombs.

  • @Jinjon27 I do have several Firsts on video already and will be doing more in the near future. Anybody can top a world record if they have the patience, but it takes a certain amount of genius to come up with something new.

  • @lunatim your right, Kinetic King!

  • *Not anymore, Tim.

  • @DOMINODAN123MAIN Oh, well. I could try to beat it as I came up with a very clever idea to cram a lot of herringbone sticks into a small space, but right now I'm more interested in developing new techniques. Maybe I'll take a whack at beating it in the future, but it's not a very high priority right now...

  • @lunatim Sounds cool, you do what you want to do for now though. :)

  • how long did it take you to build it and how long did it take you to pick it up.

  • @ferbie94 About a day to set up, an hour to clean up...

  • Hey Kinetic King. I have a science project coming up and want to involve stick bombs in the experiment. Do you have any ideas? It has to be testable and measurable. Please report back ASAP. Thanks for the help!

  • @SkwerNot Sorry, but I don't really have a clue how to make an experiment that meets those criteria...

  • @SkwerNot You can see how much weigh can a stickbomb type can withstand. This can also help you determine the best firebreak.you want to take something light( like a cup) and if the cup doesnt stop it, try something a little heavier(like 3 cubs stacked). The goal is to have the lightest firebreak. Once that is determined, see how much that weighs and boom! Your project is done. Hope this helps : )

  • Yes, as a matter of fact

    I invented most of

    this stuff first--

    Whoo,hoo!

  • Its hard to get at least 1000 views unless you are bitten by charlie

  • OOOOOHH

    AAAAAAHH

  • nice one :)

  • Great video! Thanks for the different points of view. Cool!

  • @uncawizard Glad you enjoyed it, unca!

  • happy thanksgiving kinetic king!

  • @CosbyTheCaterpillar Happy Thanksgiving yourself, Cosby!

  • Sounds nice, like rain. :)

  • @claytorpedo It's raining slats and logs ;)

    ba-dump, tchhhhhh

  • NOW DO IT AGAIN :D lol

  • Thanks, dnmonte, mouse, and dominofan!

    mega--About 1000...

  • 5 stars

  • How much pop sticks was your wild card performance again?

  • Whoo, hoo!

  • wow, great falldown :-)

  • secret message;)

  • Imagine laying under that

  • @aarontheklein I did take a few pictures from the underside of the gadget--next time I'll have to consider a very low angle camera...

  • Whoo hoo!

  • @aarontheklein Whoo, hoo!

  • @aarontheklein i agree whoo hoo

  • you are epic I watch and like + favorite all your vids in hope that they get real popular man :) woo hoo

  • @narutorine Thanks, narutorine!

  • omg kinetic king shoulda won agt <33

  • @njallday99 Thanks, nj!

  • @lunatim you are sooo welcome :)

  • I wish i could make that!

  • @ESDTfusion I just uploaded a herringbone tutorial--you should check it out...

  • @lunatim Thanks for leting me know King. Now to buy popsicle sticks...

  • @ESDTfusion You're welcome, ESDT!

  • Its cool how you invented this! What made you think of this?

  • @megahotshot97 I toyed around with the idea of some sort of 'mutually-propped' chain since I was a kid. My first idea was to use playing cards leaning on each other, but they lock up a lot. Eventually, I got the idea of having a chain of sticks with one end on the previous stick and one end on a support...

  • Now THAT was awesome! :D You have a lot of rulers :P

  • @tardz13 Thanks, tardz!

  • Imagine lying under that :)

    Whoo hoo!

  • @aarontheklein Whoo, hoo!

  • WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @narutorine Whoo, hoo!

  • You didn't seem all that enthusiastic about this record. Something wrong?

  • @xGimpyx What makes you think that?

  • @lunatim Something about your tone and the video in general seemed to lack enthusiasm. Maybe it's just me. I tend to over-analyze these things. None the less, excellent work. How many world records is that now?

  • @xGimpyx I think it was being up all night that showed in my voice :) Glad you enjoyed it, though. I'm not sure how many that is because of how one defines a world record. For example, I did my biggest clever lever gadget on AGT, but didn't get an exact count, so I don't know if that counts or not...

  • Woo Hoo !!!

  • @djk84 Whoo, hoo!

  • "Yes, as a matter of fact I invented most of this stuff first--Whoo hoo!"

Hard to catch that but I did. :)

  • Its awsome to see it happen!

  • @Minhs3 Thanks, Minhs, be sure to tell all your friends and family about this!

  • Thumbs up if Flippycat brought you here.

  • @Kryphone Whoo, hoo-ray for Flippy!

  • how many hours did u use

  • @ssa9705 Too darned many ;)

  • This is my 5th time watching it I can't stop whoo hoo!

  • cool lol

  • ALL HAIL THE KINETIC KING!

  • @wejamon84 Whoo, hoo!

  • No Subliminal commands?

  • @AlexsDominoes Just one near the end...

  • @lunatim oh, i saw that already;P

  • All your accomplishments should be put in a book :), keep it up! :D

  • Still think these need a musical accompaniment. Maybe Red Norvo or Hoyt Curtin. I hear that kind of thing in my head esp. when watching the slow motion chains.

  • FlippyCat brought me here.

  • I was on lunatim.com and saw your link to your nbc profile. It said you got married. HOW COME YOU NEVER TOLD US!

  • @megahotshot97 It was out of consideration for my ex-wife...

  • 0:11 *accident pulled from above* OH SHI-!

  • YOU MUST CHOP DOWN THE MIGHTIEST TREE IN THE FORREST, WITH, A HERRING!!!!!

  • @smallz285 Never underestimate the power of a herring ;)

  • 3100 pick up... sounds suspicious...

  • @dustinngo0629 I was originally going to have 3052 sticks so it would have been a play on the old game "52 Pick-Up", but I decided to add 48 more sticks for a finale...

  • Perfect! that's a huge filed! Congrats on the record!

  • @Hevesh5 Thanks, Hevesh!

  • woohoo

  • I know how Dominos work but how does this work?

  • @kianwee1998 The way they're stacked each stick is supported by the previous one, when it falls that support is gone and gravity takes over. This repeats over and over until the end.

  • @TheAllBlackMan Okay thanks =)

  • @TheAllBlackMan That's a good description of how it works :)

  • Beautiful, just beautiful.

  • @frankenstein1887 Thanks, frank!

  • You are my idol!!! I cant believe you are THE Kinetic King!

  • @immawhofan *blush* Thanks, imma!

  • Thanks for the compliments, everybody--whoo, hoo!

  • yeah!

  • That was so cool great job kinetic king

  • @TheDominoKing0197 Thanks, DK!

  • Woo-hoo, beyotches

  • Wow i hate buffering at the wrong time. You said 3,2,1, then BOOM, buffer!

  • I've learned how to make herringbones myself, only I don't have a lt of popsicle sticks, so I use plastic forks.

  • The people in that next building get to watch live-builds every day.

  • @MzPlaneta Yup, the alley is pretty narrow...

  • U invented this stuff woo hoo its GR8

  • Do you use LSD to create intro?

  • @DmitRU2007 I should try that sometime :)

  • kewl :D

  • woohoo indeed. I saw the setup and went wooooowwwwwww!!

  • Wooofrickinhoo!! Awesome!!!!

  • I have a challenge for you. World record herring bone with yardsticks!!!!

  • @TarnationCarnation You read my mind ;)

  • @TarnationCarnation

I also have a challenge for you, lunatim. Clean the herringbone chain up when it's done! :D

  • @xVirtualNinjax That's what interns are for ;)
