@Missanimemusic I dunno about other parts of the world, but in Hungary every winter the high schools and universities hold balls to which anyone can buy a ticket, though they are more like proms.

But there is the Anna Ball where they even choose King and Queen of the Ball sometime in summer (maybe on Midsummer Night?) but that's only held for the upper 100. But they broadcast it on TV.

Ohh..Well cool for Hungary, it does sound like a prom though, but still cool.. The Anna Ball sounds really awesome. But too bad its only up to 100.

Don't get me wrong , I like Proms, but its just like only Highschool students and not so sophisticated, sometimes and would be nice if like a city hall hold a Ball for at least once a year for everyone (of course people must buy a tickets for it, for the ball can get refund for expensive's and make money and all)
