I can't read music at all but I can play by ear. Just a gift God has given me. I have been playing for different churches for almost 10years and no one believes me when I tell them I can't read music! lol! And as I look at your hand movements it makes it easier for me to learn the song you play. I want to learn how to read musci but no one really teaches it anymore. THANKS FOR POSTING YOUR VIDEOS!! @Mspraisegirl1 Yeah, people do it a little differently. Which fingering do you prefer?

@PianoClubHouse using finger 5 ane finger 1 have open fifth fingers for the actual open fifths. I am sorry I teach piano and i would tell my students that, that fingering is wrong. But sorry I am not here to bother you about your fingering, cause I am learning from you.

@Mspraisegirl1 Ouch....."wrong"? Different maybe, but there isn't necessarily a wrong way....In my opinion, its only wrong if the keys being played are incorrect, but fingering is personal preferences.

Anyways, my reasoning for the 5-2 fingering is that it leaves the thumb to play the octave, or any number of note combinations that will help to fill in voicings. Sometimes just playing the 1st and 5th can get monotonous. Thanx for your reply!

@theapex81 Thanx for the comment. However, u are looking at it completely wrong. I can't speak for anyone else,but for ME,t has nothing to do with hiding what kind of board I have.Rather having a professional presentation. My first 75 videos I did, didn't have anything covering it, you can plainly see the keyboard. i wanted to look more professional, so i added a black sheet.I just learned how to put a digital graphic/logo on top, thus my new style. Its about being professional, not being vain.

@theapex81 You posted 6 months ago so forgive me for bringing it up. Covering the keyboard is at the least an act of vanity (unless you are implying that his keyboard may be cheap?). On the contrary, it is the most humble thing someone can do (The keyboard sounds great--that's important). He says its about being professional, and it does look presentable. How do people get on that topic in the first place? It's a tutorial about how to play a song, not what to play. Be blessed by his talent!
