by the way, my box started sounding like that quite a while ago, it also started working like crap soon after. programs that are expensive on my computers resources, crash after just 10 minutes or so. it has become, for all intensive purposes, a digital closet. it cant really do much. ill bet its the fan. get a new fan soon before your computer cooks its innards. if that is what it is, that is.
