It's wonderful that these animals are not only being rescued, but they are participating in educational presentations! (Education being the key word!)

It's pathetic to see captive marine mammals performing unnatural tricks in uneducational, circus-like shows at marine parks and zoos. More facilities should focus on rescuing animals and teaching the public about them.

The problem is what to do... let the seals just die, because dont get involved in nature (Age, shark attak etc.) or feed them with fish from the oceans, caught by commercial fisherman who just take their profit from the "bushmeat" of the oceans. Any suggestions?

Excellent question, ghomtu. I am not so sure how to resolve this dilemma.

Considering how terribly brutalized the seals are, when presented with the chance to save one, perhaps we should.

And look at how well this darling seal is doing after the rescue.
