  • When an animal is being starved they will do anything, including tricks to get food. And yes I know I don't know anything about this particular situation but if anyone has seen "The Cove" they will no that Dolphins are definitely still captured in their hundreds for parks such a Sea World so there is not much people can do to prove that they aren't doing the same for whales. It just breaks my heart when you see behind the scenes of the Whale and Dolphin industry, as it can be one of the cruelest.

  • what a shame on these poor animals, abused for entertainment..oh i mean education what ever u want 2 call it its abuse being worked till death...putting these animals in these bathtubs is ripping then of there most natural instincts family and sonar... its just disgusting, people who pay to see this shud be ashamed!!!

  • She talks about having such great love for these incredible animals yet she's causing an imense amount of suffering to them. She's a major role in the cruel capturing of them from their pristine and natural world and dumping them in a "bathtub" where they have to spend the rest of their days living in a small pool doing tricks to entertain you, when they should be in the beautiful ocean travelling hundreds of miles a day. Notice how the Whales dorsal fin is limp.. poor thing.

  • @MrJazzamelia As i have said countless times before any of the orcas in captivity nowadays were born in captivity and do not know anything different Truas finn isn't flopped over and thats because he was bred in captivity and again do you really think a human could force an orca to do tricks come on they must enjoy or at least not mind doing them otherwise they wouldn't.

  • This isn't Dawn :S

  • Went to watch this absoulutly amazing :)

but this time non of the people went into the water to swim with them

  • Awww... Dawn doing what she loved. No one did it better then her. I love the dance behaivor at 52 seconds. So sweet. I believe that is Kayla she is working with there. And for the record, her tragic accident did not occur during a show, it was after. And why would you want to watch it? Gosh.

  • you can tell she loves that

  • is this tilikum or another whale?

  • @FxUCKTHEWORLD It's another whale. Tilikum is in part 3.

  • seriously tankillium was a orca from the wild and he was already fully grown and still had hunting skills in him thats y he attacked

  • EastCoasterGeneral, do you have the show where the incident occured?

  • @HPFreak4Life1708 The accident DID NOT occured during the show! It was Dine with Shamu

  • the person speaking said her name was jessica.

  • please someone know what is the name this song, please tell me.

  • something far greater

  • @mrcsalv the song is something far greater.

  • @crissangel4u2..... Ocras are mammals...not fish :P

  • I absolutely LOVE Sea World and the Orca whales, so much that I had one tattoed on me with my kids initials as Sea World is a place I visited many times. I believe that the Orca thought she was playing with her when she flipped her hair around. Horrible accident ! I would LOVE to be a trainer and get into the water with an Orca !!!! So sad for Dawn, but she loved these Orcas!! Such a tragedy!

  • I dont get it...this veido was taped in feb 25 o b4...well SOME 1 HAS TO HAVE THE TAPE 4 THE INCEDENT.....THUMPS UP IF ITS TRUE SOME1 HAS IT

  • I love seaworld you know but The trainers need to stop getting in the swimming pool with them...and riding them lyk their horses..cuz they arnt their 12,000 pound fish!

  • How is this the part where she is drowned?

  • @MsHyperLuvs2Dance This isn't the show when the incident occurred. It was the "Dine with Shamu" show.

  • "Drown in a tragic accident"

C'mon! The whale murdered her very intentionally. Why misrepresent this?

  • after watching this i want to be a seaworld trainer 1 day :D i love animals

  • @lioumichelle if you love animals as you say then let them free. These magnificent animals were born to be free and in their natural habitat, not in water tank at seaworld doing unnatural things. As long as people pay to see shows like this new whales will also be captured. how sad!!!

  • @rodito75 Haha, that would be true if it hadn't become against the law to capture orcas 30 years ago. All but two of SeaWorld Orlando's orcas are captive born.

  • @missnoodles996 Killer Whales captures are in fact NOT out-lawed in the USA... the Display Parks made sure of that in 1994 with the MMPA amendments... I'll send you a copy right now to your Channel.... anyone else who wants this MMPA amendment please feel free to inquire.

  • @missnoodles996 Robert Jenkins, representing the 'Alliance' (between the American Zoo and Aquarium

Association and the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums) boasted in 1994

that success in weakening the MMPA had been achieved '..through a consistent, co-

ordinated and unrelenting approach to Capitol Hill and the Congressional staff

responsible for the MMPA reauthorisation; the public display community was able to

achieve virtually all of its agenda.' - WDCS

  • @rodito75 actually thats not strictly true some of these animals were born in captivity and therefore do not know any different. And do you really think you could make an orca do something it doesn't want to so it must enjoy or at least not mind performing otherwise it wouldn't do it.

  • great show..thanks for the vid..do you know how deep is that??

  • Thanks for the post....I will share it with my kids! We saw the show in San Diego 2yrs ago....We will be back when they start them up again to show our support!

  • is she the one who died?

  • @july24 Yes. Such a terrible shame. She really loved those whales & training them.
