  • the pic quality is too low to confirm it as a real tradebot, the chat channels minimised are blinking really fast for normal time, but that could be from a low framerate on the program used to record and upload this. if the scrollbar on the right is indeed in time with the clock, and orders then this is absolutely beautiful and i congratulate you for breaking the market, however, your contacts logging off and on is happening too fast to be in real time, which shows a time elapse speedup

  • You are a sad, sad person.

  • От такого количества запросов канеш не спалишся)))

  • I never knew trade bots existed, I know spam bots and rat bots where there but trade bots, that's a new one awsome work I wish I could have it :)

  • This inspired me to start my own market bot. I've written mine in C#. It has indeed been a great learning experience, and is rather profitable to boot. So far, my bot only can do 1, 2, 3(but no relisting yet) 4, 5, 8, 9, 10. I intend to add the ability to create new buy and sell orders and eventually, to automatically search new commodities to trade and to also automatically cancel under-preforming buy orders to make room for better orders.

  • @SunFx great job.

  • Question for the uploader. Why would you use C++, this is clearly not a high performance app so there are other languages that have better/easier integration with the GUI (which is obviously how you are you are interfacing with the game) than C++. If you did use C++ I would bet that 95% of your code was just dealing with connecting to the game. In short it seems like such a waste of time and effort to use C++.

  • It's just fail that you haven't any tradingabilities, which leads you to create a bot making you succesfull in EvE and in trading... I'm really sorry for you..

  • @TheDrHaxxx

It's just fail that you haven't any programmingabilities, which leads you to create a hater post making you succesfull in being a douche and in being a douche... I'm really sorry for you..

    Fixed.

Well not the grammar/spelling. That was copied for effect.

  • This MUST be real...there's no Rick James music!

  • I hope your third world country has dictators, famine, aids and civil war.

  • well i like to know the speed of the movie (if its x8 normal time or what it is)

well nice bot =) but im glad you have not released this bot to download as it will overkill the eve market.

and surely also lag eve o.o i mean if it runs HALF as that speed image 20.000 users doing that at a time....wow

  • you know, for the most part eve is still a space-game, not a trading simulator. I dont understand why people get upset about it when the only thing, trading on the same station does, is reducing the gap between buy and sell orders which gives real players (those who produce items or loot them from npcs or other players) more money for their loot and lets them sell at more stations instead of being forced to hoard their items between running missions.

  • they need to make changing order to 30mins or hour. That will fuck a bot in no time.

  • @northwesten:

That would **** most non-botting traders, too.

  • @Mortumforte only if he had it running on a LOT of toons, The cap on the number of trade orders you can have on a toon prevents any one character from "owning" the market. It would be possible but there are thousands of items on eve's market and a cap of around 300 market slot per character.

  • @northwesten Ha, I trade in jita legitimately and all that would do is fuck me up even more, the bot woulds just change orders every 30 mins or cancel order and put up a new one, please use your brain before typing...

  • @LittleTerror848 "please use your brain before typing..." LMFAO dude honestly ......... I don't give a fuck and it be less spamming on the system and wont lag as much.... So cry else where and your insult pretty much same level as a 10 year old nice lol.

  • are you willing to sell your program?

  • By the way. Running this ans similar programs can get your account banned. CCP can develop methods to detect such software being used. Infact I believe they have already done so.

  • @Lordmark1234 Woaw thanks for pointing out the obvious, but the more game devs improve anti-hack systems the more hackers work to bypass them :P

  • what is this thing can someone please explain?

  • While this is very scary it's also very impressive.

  • 0.o WTF ARE U BUYING

  • How much is that vid fast forwarded?

  • let me guess... you algo trade at work :) I was thinking about doing this in EVE, I'm glad someone decided to do it!

  • LOL looked at this a 2nd time, look at how fast the chat box at the bottom of the screen is flashing and how fast the time goes by, obvious fake of a bot.

  • @Blindeamon ...... You mean it wasn't immediately obvious that this is a time lapse of Tradebot in action?

  • @Blindeamon - You're retarted. 10 bucks says now you go buy this bot but cant figure out how to use it. The idea of a bot is to automate things so you can go AFK. He's showing you hours of his bot running in the background / and or he did some cocaine and stayed up trading for a really long time.

  • it will be oh so fun when all of the ignorant snots get a hold of this.

looking forward to the impending crash of the eve economy... this is why we can't have nice thing anymore people. seriously. i hope whoever wrote and uses this code keeps it and are the sole exploiters, that or its hopefully a fake...

  • All game breaking arguments aside. Is eight minutes of super-fast-code-trawling really necessary?

  • 1000 people with this in jita? And you think its laggy now? Good luck getting anything sold.

If this gets out, eve will never be the same. Askuriel, i heard you were quitting and I think u have made your point, no reason to release this.

  • Yay with this program the Chinese isk farming businesses can go kill all their employees and sell their organs on the black market... See what your doing!!!! YOUR KILLING PEOPLE!!!!!

  • I want it :)

  • @vkhonda you get banned for it, its a 3rd party macro program and breaks EULA

  • Go to PublicDemands.co.uk if you ever wonna sell it.

  • @oingoinegro Beware, breaks EULA and if it modifies CCP's code you could be liable for it as a seller.

  • @Blindeamon:

That wouldn't be a problem. Yes, they would permaban him, but nothing else would happen.

  • definetly would like to have one like this i can make 100-200mil in week if i'm VERY lucky by trade. if you can can you send even part of code and is it compitable in C#(Visual Sutio 2008/2010)?

  • nice job (no irony intended)

  • What a Losser, so you can't play a MMO ??

I know there are aimbots but really how bad at the games must you be to have to cheat at a MMO.

  • @whitewulf164 because they just sad. They think they are good but really their skills just fail like their life. That's how I see it

  • @whitewulf164 how is it cheating?

  • Great, just what we need, ANOTHER macro.

  • The cancer that's killing eve.

  • @TheParrotOne The same cancer is 'killing' financial markets in real life, just so you know. :D

  • @askuriel bahaha since when?

All known automated forex bots fail over extended periods.

  • @askuriel

    So we dont learn anything....

  • @askuriel algorithmic trading, i applaude your skill

  • @askuriel There are no fucking trade bots in real life you dipshit.

  • @Trendwin yes, there are

  • @Trendwin YES, THERE, ARE.

Machines running forever and making the big banks too big to fail.

  • @nolekulikali Really? Show me proof of real life trade bots.. first off what market are they trade botting, also secondly which software are they using, who is the developer of the software and what's the company that maintains all the data that these so called "trade bots" are using.

You can't answer a single one of those so gtfo.

  • @Trendwin Look up algorithmic trading on wikipedia, or just google it. 'tradebots' exist in real life, and they've been around for a while. Stock exchanges and such offer special connections for such programs these days.

  • @Trendwin obvious ragebait.

look on the gold market, for example: price manipulating. my time is too precious to explain you everything, so read on your own, fag:

    goldstockbull(dot)com(slash)articles(slash)gold-price-manipulation-exposed(slash)

machines are used to create single orders and delete them instantly after - either to create fake demand or fake supply.

i would go forth and say, you can find the most powerful (=fast) computers of the world just right in wall st.

  • @Trendwin Hahahaha. Boy, are you red-faced now. Figure out how very, very wrong you are yet?

  • @askuriel that doesnt make it ok

  • @askuriel Yep, just ask Goldman $achs and their high frequency trading bots...

  • @askuriel

Is that a justification of any kind?

  • @askuriel What was the point? Real life has pretty much nothing to do with eve.

  • For people who don't do trade, the only way this can affect their game experience is by increasing lag, which is more annoying for traders anyway. In fact, this makes the market more EFFICIENT by reducing the gap between buy and sell price and increasing the speed prices change.

I don't use this as I can't program decently, but I really wanted to see some game mechanics corrected to allow everyone to do what this does.

  • @MrMinnah

If everyone did this the trading system would be fcked up. Prices basically wouldn't move and people would be unable to sell their things - as when two sellers post orders at the same price, the first seller's items are sold first.

Now consider. If everyone has to queue to sell things it would take ages, so prices would reduce. If we reduce prices by this system we either hit 0 sell value or prices stop at the "low" and people queue up.

    Massive fail either way.

  • @TheParrotOne By killing the markets, you obviously mean bringing liquidity to the markets?

  • @snero3 Remember that stock market mini-crash where the Dow dropped like 600 points in 15 minutes?

That was done by real-life trader bots. Those things can WRECK a market if the conditions are right.

And the market would be just fine without them. All traderbots do is accelerate sales for those who use them and close the margins/make the market inaccessible for those who don't. Basically you can't get in the market without one now.

  • @SBFloppie Your kidding right? Your blaming computers and trading algorithms solely for a market crash? I think you need to do a little research (google "tulips stock market crash"). These kinds of "crashes" corrections have been happening for hundreds of years (yes hundreds).

Even without computers day trading is hard. Trading (in general) is ALWAYS going to be hard if it was easy every one would be rich and retire at 15. It is hard to trade by yourself hence the reason for brokers.

  • @snero3 I'm blaming computers and programs for ONE crash, yes. Because it's well-documented that THAT sudden drop was caused by them. Just because you can cite plenty of speculative bubbles over the course of human history doesn't mean that trading programs can't crap up the system.

The difference between the tulip bubble (or real estate, or dotcom, or telecom) and the 15-minute crash is that the latter had nothing to do with a correction. It was a BUG.

  • Looks promising, not too sure about the trust tho... gonna need more proof.
