The thing that's so great about frisbee is that it can be played by ANYONE. It really doesn't matter how athletic you are because you can still be pretty good at throwing. Its just such a fun sport

I agree with stealth ninja, I love frisbee but getting a bunch of old guys to run around in front of a croud is not a good way to make it seem like a legit sport. Where were you in the country that you could not at least find some halfway decent college team to play in front of these people, I want people to know about frisbee and take it seriously, but lets be real, if you saw a masters game of basketball at your local YMCA how would that do as an example of how great the sport can be

The flaw here is this; you're trying to show how action packed a game of Ultimate can be by having some pretty poor looking athletes demo it at half time of AN AREA LEAGUE FOOTBALL GAME. At least show up with some good club or college teams! Also, find a sport that isn't action packed and Ultimate would look MUCH better. Hell, I think it would stand a chance at even a regular football game. Maybe during the half of a soccer game?

Anybody even thinking of criticizing Ultimate please don't based off this video. Watch the video "2009 UPA Club Nationals Ultimate Frisbee" and you'll see how hard the sport is.

I love ultimate, so I hate to see a bored crowd. Couldn't you have gotten some young, athletic players who were going to play hard defense and offense and made some bids instead of these guys jogging around the field?

Wait, Why is the category in this video sports? Frisbee isn't a sport, it's for band kids and asians who aren't athletic enough to play football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, track and field, etc. Whoever see this and thinks it's cool, really needs to play some real sports. Get a life, get out of marching band, get into a gym, and play a REAL sport. Enough said.

@Happytaco1236 Yeah so I have PLayed Football for a DIII and DI school and I have also played ultimate at the club and college level and real Ultimate Frisbee(which this video could hardly be considered) takes a lot of athletic ablility and a lot of skill.

It's not you i have a problem with, it's the kids who only play frisbee and believe they are better than everybody else because they're on the varsity frisbee team, when in reality they are 5'11" and only weigh like 110 pounds. Anybody who can sprint ten yards can play frisbee, people who can spint longer and faster play real sports.

I play college Ultimate on the West coast. A 50 yard throw is nothing special. Regulation dimensions are 70 yards long and 40 yards wide. I can throw 70 yards easy on my backhand and less than that on my forehand. Everyone on A team can throw full field from the forehand or backhand

Yeah, seriosly. I hate when people make generalizations about the sport, when like the people who compete at the College and Club level, are top athletes. Like, people with 35 inch plus verticals. It's the most fun, most exciting game played. Like people bitch it out for it not being contact, when there is plenty of contact. Like, it's not allowed to happen, but there is plenty of people who get flipped when they go up for discs. People who don't give the sport a chance just make me mad.

Very cool! It looks like the players were sort of taking it easy but it looked like good fun play. Nice that you got to do the demo in front of anyone at all. I gotta imagine that high schoolers in the crowd probably played with their friends somewhere that same week because of seeing you. That's how it starts! :-) nice job!
