to play the piece that well at the age of 12 is impressive, i would know as i am a violinist and have just started playing this piece at the age of sixteen. i suck compared to this girl lol
Thanks you guys. Thanks EeyoreSayings.:P I might post a new video soon of me playing the piece 'CZARDAS' by V.MONTI'. But I have to find the CD first... haha.
the first part was a bit fast because when i play it it feels like forever before i get through the 69-72 part and then the middle is the 92-110... but you played the first part well but fast and the second part seemed too slow.... but it was really beautiful... i really liked it. ha ha i hope my exxam this year goes that well
This is very nice. In regards to speed, it is just fine. However when taking it up-tempo, slowing down at the end of a musical phrase loses that rushed feeling (not a long rit. but simpling holding the last note a little or pausing slightly before the next phrase).
You nicely use the full bow to make the return melody majestic at the end, but throughout the piece you mostly use the top half of the bow. The culprit seems to be a weak upbow stroke.
I disagree about the tempo. When I discovered this piece it wasn't marked and I took it for a big bold quasi-fanfare. Surely it's so from the minor section on, i.e. 2/3 of the pipece including almost verbatim recap of the beginning. Good job, ladies!
heyy emilie that was amazing i played the violin bt could never master any songs like you did like teh previous people have said it was good, but im no expert a bit slower and i would say that this is perfect!
Well hopefully i will see you in new york at the cornigy hall playing while i am paying for a ticket....
Good job Emilie, i'm William and i'm playing this piece at my next recital, great job, especially for being twelve! The only thing I can say is slow down, but EVERYONE'S been saying that so don't worry about, and as far as these punks talking crap, don't listen to them, comments like that just show jealousy, arrogance, or someone trying to ruin your day, don't quit, you're a great player! Keep it up!
but you don't have to listen to my suggestion...i'm 13 but i play the violin and am pretty dedicated to it. i dont' have any vids but i plan on putting some up.
Obviously breadko is a punk that will never be able to back up his/her comments. To all you young people who work really hard and succeed well, these kinds of comments are fuelled by jelousy and uselessness! Good job Emilie!!!
hi, thanks for the good music. hope my sons can play that piece too. can u share that piece adoration? they are having lesson for 1 year now. i want them to play that piece also. you can send the piece in my email. thanks! keep up the good music.
Oh yea your cool. You probably don't even play violin. A 12 year old playing this song this well is amazing work. If she was an adult playing this song there would be much needed work but you can't expect so much of people this young
Hey, i'm the player of this piece. if you would actually have a metronomein your hand, M. BreadKo, you would have realised i that played it SLOWER than 80. Thank-you!
This wasn't that good. I would work on your tone first of all. It is quite indefinite, and it needs to be a little less timid. The tempo is outrageously fast, though. Go MUCH SLOWER; like maybe 80 on metronomes? It needs to be peaceful, not show-offy. :P
Just wondering...do you play the violin, BreadKo? And if so, how old are you? How old when you played this (assuming that you have played this if you are a violinist)?
Anyways, kudos to the player. That is a difficult piece to play and to play as well as you have...and at age 12 is very impressive!
@diugudej Actually, Izzy is right. I was 7 when I first completely refined adoration on violin, and It is 'Andante'. It is a difficult piece, and she should be proud, but diugudej, don't flame. It is a bit too fast.
basically....... shutup unless u can proove that u can play it so awsomely perfect! this is a great interpretation of adoration especially for a 12 yr old!

I am using this as one of my audition pieces for syo. Due to camera location I could get a clear idea of your playing piano overpowered you.

heyyyyy when i was 10 i played this song & won a competition with it and got invited to an honors recital. :]]
i have a suggestion for further improvement mk?
i think you should slow down on this piece.
you play it fairly well, just a bit fast.
if you slow down, the clarity and beauty of the song will come out.
adoration is a VERYYYY pretty piece and i love it. :DDD haha i adore adoration. xD

i really like this songggg!!!
it's veryyy beautiful..although i suggest for this girl to slow down a bit. she plays it fairly well, just kind of fast.
if she slowed down the clarity and the beauty of the piece would speak.
just a suggestion :D

Excellent. You did wonderful. I couldn't play that well when I was 12. You are on the path to Carnegie Hall. Keep it up!
