no but i agree, its good that you talked yourself out of it-
"i feel a lot more hopeful" :) :) that's so good!!!
ps you dont even appear anxious!?
THATS SO EXCITING YOU GOT THE AUDIO SERIES!!!!! IF YOU HAVE *ANY* questions, please email me!!!!!!! im a little too excited sorry!!! lol (okay janey sshhh)
its just that its hard doing it alone :( but with more and more youtube users using dr. r's stuff we can all share and help each other move forward....
"wow the only person making me feel bad is myself" :) yes
how do you think your parents will be when u tell them..?
Hi Janey, I'm excited too about trying out Dr. Richard's tapes! It's so cool that other youtubers like yourself are going through the same thing and we can all be here for each other. I'll definitely email you if I have any questions (which I'm sure I will lol), thank you!
And it's definitely nice to hear that I don't look anxious in these vids! I just try to treat them as more of a diary and not let myself think about the camera. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but it's easier the more honest I am. Now I just have to be as honest with my parents lol! I don't think they'll necessarily take it badly, I'm just not sure of how supportive they'll be, since they haven't really been there in the past. Anyway thank you soo much for your support, your vids are awesome! :D
I have those thoughts of self-sabotage also. But your videos are helping people. The more videos posted, the more help people will have access to. You are only doing good for others.
Tell everyone you have SA. Isn't a goal of every person to be able to comfortably be his or her true self around others? Wouldn't it be fun if you weren't self-conscious and could enjoy the moment? That's what I want to do.
Thanks dpcilley! And yes, it would be amazzzzing if I could stop being so self-conscious and could really enjoy moments in life lol! I'm definitely working on telling the important people in my life about my SA, so we'll see how it goes! :)
Hey Anna! I was a little surprise to hear that you were very close to deleting your videos and channel for good. Thank goodness your anxiety didn't got the best of you! Yeah, the fear that family or friends will discover your videos is a common fear that many SA sufferers have (though I never did seem to have it). But of course, with so many videos on youtube, it's almost impossible for them to discover them.
Hi SkepticScepter! Yes, lol, that's exactly what I did, I kept telling myself over and over that with all the millions of vids on youtube, my family/friends have a pretty small chance of finding my videos haha! But I am definitely very glad I didn't end up letting it get the best of me too!
Anna,
don't you dare take down your vids!! lol
