i'm only on my third month of minoxidil 5% liquid, and i'm already seeing quite a bit of growth. that said, i'm the ideal candidate, not that old (38) and the thinning is only on my crown/vertex, and it's not complete baldness, just thinning. thought i'd have to wait 12 months but it's already doing wonders. i had a shedding period that was scary for about 3 weeks though, but worth it. it's working faster than it's supposed to.

@harish2309 Actually I'm not bald as my freaking comment sounds like.. but my hair have fallen and become thin to a great extent, I used to have so tough hairs, curly and thick.. all the stress in engineering and negligence towards hair care have taken the toll.

@vivs005 I'm the same. Little thinning in the front and temples have receded about 2 inches. Not visible unless someone pushes the hair backwards.

It's not due to stress or diet, its because you have the MPB gene in you that is causing it, nothing else

I'm using minoxidil for like a year and i had some small,minor improvement.

The hair loss seems to be reduced,as for new hair growth...not that much,i have some new hair growth but it 's very thin compared with the rest of the hair and it's not significant difference.

Well..at least i get to keep the hair i still have for more time :))

@newsit1 concerned11 is talking about PROPECIA, which is a drug affecting (in simply words) how hormones works, therefore it can affect lots of things. MINOXIDIL, which you are using, is something completely different.

Dovrebbero come minimo passare 3 mesi (90 gg) per dei risultati visibili cmq, meglio 5. Non so se continui tuttora il trattamento però a quanto so è che se smetti dopo poco ricomincia il processo di caduta... praticamente dovrai usarlo per sempre.

Ma 5 min al giorno spesi per la cura valgono la pena per un risultato apprezzabile vita natural durante.
