There was an article in the paper today saying older people are becoming more angry and grumpy. In my experience, old people have always been like that, always carrying on about "back in my day"...hate to break it to them, but this isn't their day. :)

Well if your feeling cynical vote independent I am honestly considering doing that in the next election at the current rate, only problem is there are preference deals....maybe for the first time in my life I will vote for Bugs Bunny or something!

I live in an age where I won't be 65 until mid-century, and considering how much technology advanced over the 20th century, I suspect by mid century, our life spans will be greatly increased. We will see what happens.

I'dont know....I am going in for my second set of knee replacements, life spans great... the only problem is your joints wear out, and knee replacements are more dangerous than open heart surgery,so take it real easy and don't walk too much,dont push weights and don't play footy......by then the retirement age will be 90. no thanks!

Abbott is a gabbling, and he knows Australia has had a growing tradie plague for the past decade. Now they are killing people, and it just so happened to be the rebate scheme that needed tradies to implement it. The scheme was doomed from the start. Put tradies on the dole and manage them. But whats the bet they will shut the rebate scheme down, and we will still have agro dumb ass tradies on our door steps. Fix the problem rather than patch it.
