A cousin of mine was accidently shot in the neck by a friend in 1978 when this song came out. Everytime I heard this song, I think of my cousin in the hospital holding on for life. He did survive the shooting. One of my all time favorites from LTD feat. Jeffrey Osbourne, Holding On. Great Hit from the 70s.
