This is the scence that makes me cry everytime I watch it., and I don't cry often. So beautiful, so true. The other one that makes me freeze is when he meets the soldiers and jokes with them. They're all in the trucks, talking and joking. And when he says goodbye to them, you know that most of them are going to die. Robin is a genius!

I thought the goodbye scene between Robin Williams and the girl was the saddest part of the movie. Knowing he could not be with someone even though he loved her very much. Each time I see that scene reminds me of the day I had to say goodbye to overseas girlfriend in my military days. Each time I see that scene in this movie, makes me cry.

I think that Iraq was another Vietnam, in vietnam if we went in with everthing we had at the beggening we would have won, but we just sent in the higher ranks, and by the time it esclated we couldnt get the amount of troops into vietnam.... basicly the same thing happended in Iraq
