@jessicaisraad my friend Nikky ive been friends with since 1991 is from jamaica but when we met was a punkrocker, she was teased by the majority of blacks for not being "black enough" even her own dad gave her a hard time, meaning she did not like hanging out at dancehalls and listen to reggae or rap, she wanted to hang with us punkrockers at punkbars etc. my friend wayne in 1994 was THE ONLY black guy at the time at raves, i'm just speaking from experience how it is in my city (toronto, canada)
