@MrsRandomMadeMeDoIt This was a 4 person final event, 1 American had to go through an online qualifier, same with the 1 Chinese player, 1 European, & the 1 Korean was an invite. So the $5,000 for 1st was much better than almost all other non-Korean events at the time. During this time, you had to be a licensed pro gamer to compete in the big leagues to actually make a living, IdrA was the only foreign pro gamer, so the odds on him qualifying were pretty low, he made a monthly salary while on CJ.
