  • So do you work for the DoD now or what?

  • What's the song?

  • You forgot to list your brushless motor type.

  • any reason to not power you fpv transmiter with the same battery you power your airplane ?

  • @punmaxxrcfx You can, via a BEC. But having a completely separate power system delivers a clearer picture.

  • @jbanne1997 Is it possible to further customize your easystar to have ailerons?

I noticed you don't have them.

  • I also noticed you didn't glue your wings. Aren't you afraid they might fall off during flight? lol

  • You did a great job this was really helpful!

  • Can you please send me a link with the parts listing? I would like to buy the same system.

  • @ehsanaman222 See the details above...

  • @THEDIYDRUMS around 3 km.

  • Thanks to your inspiration, particularly the original interview on ATTF, I'm now having a ball flying FPV down here in New Zealand. I always wanted to fly and this is one great way way to get up there!

  • hi so your two batterys give you 40 min s flight time! and could i go up to 2000 mah and its a 20c right?

  • Where Can i Buy this ?

  • @MrCampone you can buy the equipment but you need to do everything by yourself, it aint a toy

  • @linutas I asked where i can buy it....

  • @MrCampone hobby wireless and hobby lobby

  • AWESOME MAN

  • What's your tx and rx setup?

    thanks, thebeast

  • Were can i buy the wireless camera an the rest of the stuff

  • SWEET!!

  • Follow the rules........

Ya, I went 28 ft into D.C. limits with my FPV plane and let's just say it went to "plane heaven" and I was fined $200. I got off lucky really....

  • hey, i have baught the pan, tilt system for my fpv. i only have a 4ch system so i was thinking maybe i could use the alerons for the main turning and pair the rudder servo with the pan servo? i guess if i want to pan i have to turn, just a cheep solution maybe?

  • @snowman3514 you can try that. personally, i'd like to look before i turn. i would go with a 3 ch plane, forgo tilting the camera for now and assign the pan to the rudder channel.

  • @snowman3514 I realize this is an old comment but wanted to put this out there. If you have a radio that can be used with a 6-ch heli you can use the throttle hold switch to switch Ch1 to pan while keeping the pre-set or current throttle setting.

  • would a Electrafun XP2 work ok?

  • Looks like that setup would fit very well for a lefty like me.

  • Do you have your ham technician's or higher license?

  • Could you name me a few other planes that would be suitable for a FPV setup?

    Thanks and great video

  • @sshukri0 Sky Surfer, Slow Stick, Twinstar 2, Easyglider

  • Ottima presentazione complimenti....

  • which one is your forum????

secondly i am thinking of getting into this but im going to go the 1000mw route. i am curious tho, ur LED voltage monitor how is that setup and where can i buy one or find out how to make one?

  • sounds like the song was played with IBAND, lol.

  • whats that song

  • bittersweet symphony??

  • outstnading

  • nice one...well done

  • Good basic presentation on how to set up FPV RC plane. But in the "what you need"-list you forgot to mention 1 essential (and the most expensive) thing for the setup:

    -The video goggles

  • BTW, where do u place your FPV receiver. On the ground or a chair above the ground or something?

  • Wich is the range of the video?

  • With this set-up, the furthest I went was 2km. I'm told it will go further.

  • If I use a dual conversion X, with a dual conversion receiver. Will i be able to go further with a single conversion X and receiver?

I got a Futaba R136 receiver, with a 10mw 2.4ghz FPV setup. Wich can go up to 250 meters max.

  • can i use 2.4 ghz transmitter with it ?

  • no, or you need a 1.2ghz fpv setup and not a 2.4ghz.

  • WOW, i am so glad i came across this video, thank you... i have just seriously decided to make something very similar...

  • Congratulations, it is a nice explanation, very helpful.

    Keep doing the good work!!!

    Cheers,

    HobbyWireless com

  • Dude, you can get a cheap brushless for $30 that will WAY outperform that 400.

  • really? where, because i havent found one yet. i'd be happy if you could help me.

  • I found one that much cheaper. €12,-=$20 THE

    2409-12T brushless outrunner

  • how much does it cost - full ?

  • Around $800.

  • @jbanne1997 Is this True Apparently You Can View The Camera From A Screen like a tv or a laptop is this true?

  • do you know of any place that sells a plane already with this type of setup?

  • nice setup. working on one for a heli.

  • With your rx back in the middle of the plane how did you work your rx aerial?

  • It goes down the the bottom and back as normal

  • Very impressive, your vids have inspired me to try that myself!

  • now wouldt that suck to get stuck in a tree

  • Hello, i'm very impressed by your setup, but you only use a speed 400 motor ? is it not too weak ?

What is the weight of your easystar ?

    Thank you for your answer.

  • Yes, that's the stock Speed 400 motor.

It works well in this set-up.

    27 ozs.

  • But a brushless motor is much more efficient not to mention service free. High end video should get high end motor....

  • Finally one who take his time to explain how to set all stuff!

    Thx very much!

I will do same for my MD530 !

  • i got the same radio :p

im now flying a skystar II , my first plane but after i learned to fly good and land, im going to buy a twinstar II and ill buy the intelligent flight fpv starter kit so i can go fly out :D. nice setup btw( are the goggles from intelligent flight??)

  • great! its awesome! btw waht is the name of the song?

  • it may be such a remix of Bittersweet Symphony from the verve :) cool vid

  • TY!

  • Excellent, informative video and I like the safety aspect. Its great to see people flying through cities and everything but I hope nobody has an accident and hurts someone in my country because the authorities may then have an excuse to ban FPV.

You can buy FPV video goggles, cameras, head trackers, etc from firstpersonview DOT co DOT uk

  • Looks like alot of fun just constructing a plane like this. Are you an Engineer?. Nice carrying case. Everything looks organized & not just slapped on. It would be pretty cool traveling to diffrent places & get a birds eye view which even the locals don't even get.

  • I was using the same Aiptek recorder with 2 gig card too. I finally save enough presidents to buy the Archos 605. What a difference that made. Yours is great set up keep up the great work

  • Awesome video man1!! But like Crazyryan said, you can also put a moving detector or something and move the camera with youre head! ;)

Oh and how much cost all this?

  • you need head gyro control
