  • whats the web address for the rest of the akins products?

  • @ChimeraPrecision

Go to Fostech Outdoors dot com

  • were can i buy one!!!

  • @ollen249

They aren't available yet but hope to have them on the market soon. I'll post here again when they are available and let everyone know.

  • @BillAkinsProduction have you got a price on how much they will cost the public???

  • @ollen249

I don't have any pricing available yet.

  • @BillAkinsProduction ow didnt see that cool

  • really cool it woould be cool to make one like the size of a normal 10/22 like a childs machine gun

  • @monkey50cal

Thanks glad you like it. It's already about as small as I can make it since the Ruger 10/22 receiver fits inside the fake receiver and the water jacket and or perforated barrel shroud only extends to the end of the barrel. Not much of a way to make the dress up kit much smaller than that. See the child in the video firing it. It looks in proportion to her size while still a cool but compact size for an adult to use also. It's about 2/3rds the size of a real one.

  • Looks like a lot of fun. Great choice of music too.

  • @nbadhorse

Thanks very much, glad you liked it.

  • when can I get one!?!

  • @joey3bc

Hi Joey3bc. I'm working on that and will let you know as soon as they are available.

  • tchnically this is a semi auto :D

  • @acepilot1997

    Not only technically but obviously.

  • Illegal in Kommiefornia, as it uses a "multi burst trigger activator" and it requires hi-cap mags which are also unavailable under the current regime. But it's awesome!

  • @7echo

Thanks 7echo, glad you liked it. It could still use the 10 round rotary magazine and be fired by a normal trigger and then be legal in Cailf. But then where's the fun in that?

  • it's a baby maxim

  • @skotyboy01

Yep that's pretty much what it looks like. Or a baby Browning model 1917....either one.

  • CRY SOME MORE! xD

  • @TreSaint

    Huh?

  • @TreSaint tf2 ftw!

  • @Orange8Films

I have no idea what TreSaint was talking about nor do I know what Orange8Films meant by "tf2 ftw!"

    Totally in the dark here.

  • @BillAkinsProduction TreSaint and Orange8Films are talking about the final scene in the "Last Samurai" Where Samuel L. Jackson defends the samurai village from the Chinese government. They Chinese/ Americans bring up a Gatling gun emplacement on the hill and Samuel's character just says "Task force 2, Cry some more...." The gun is then Fired on him as Samuel was the last Samurai....

  • @SolublePanda

Ah! I see. It makes sense now. I understand. Now I know what TreSaint and Orange8Films meant.

They meant FIRE SOME MORE!. Will do. Lol.

  • @BillAkinsProduction He is referencing the game Team Fortress 2. The heavy weapons guy's catchphrase is 'cry some-more'. At least I think so.

  • sounds like popcorn :D

  • how much do these kits cost?

  • @SteelersRule1011

I'm not ready to market them as yet. Will be sure and post here when I am.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Any idea when you will market this as a kit and for about how much?

  • @PiperTJW

No ETA yet on when I will market it or how much it will cost. Takes time.

  • little kid: thanks for the gift dad!

    LOL :D

  • 影片 作的很好我很喜歡

  • @GASH001100

Lol, I have no idea what you said since I don't read that language.

  • lol i rolf when i saw the first one fire, with the little turn thing,

    pewpewpewpewpewpew

  • @tomatomanXD

Well....was that good for you? Lol.

  • 4:20 go compare!!!

  • damn wish my range days where half as cool.

  • do you have to have a special licence for the crank?

  • @mikewashere01

No Mike, as with a human powdered crank fired Gatling gun, or any human powdered crank fired rapid fire gun, no special Federal license is required. Crank fired guns are specifically exempt from the national firearms act (N.F.A.).

  • Where can I buy the air cooled and how much

  • @TheSouthernboy100

I am working on that but it is not available for sale yet hence I have no prices for you yet.

Actually my third prototype is quickly convertible from air cooled to water cooled in seconds, so it can be both.

That will be the one manufactured. Although similar looking to both the designs in the video, it has significant design changes in it that allow it to be convertible. Third proto is almost finished but no eta yet.

  • 3:07 that guy looks Excited.

  • That's the dumbest thing i've ever seen. I'll buy twelve :D

  • @peepeevagi

    Lol.

  • Every video on youtube with a gun in it there is someone shooting in the background so you can't hear what people are saying. It never fails.

  • @timscott61495

Not in all cases, but I agree in many cases. Perhaps it is because our society has been so propagandized to be politically correct and afraid of guns, that it is sometimes difficult to find a place to shoot anymore that isn't a range with a lot of other guns going off. Even out in the country where I live, new homes have sprung up and now I have neighbors calling my home asking what is wrong if I shoot on my acreage even though they are several acres away.

  • That is the single greatest dress up kit for the 10/22 ever. You, sir, are a god among men for coming up with that. The only question left is when will it be done, and how much can I get one for?

  • @Thatevilmidget

Lol, I much appreciate your sentiment and enthusiasm, but I'm no God among men. I'm just a guy who likes to tinker with guns. Any engineering/design gifts I may have, come from God, but do not make me a God. I am currently working on the third prototype that will in just a few seconds be interchangeable from being an air cooled to water cooled version. Progress is slow but steady and as soon as it is ready for market, I will post a video of it here. Don't know price yet.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Just a turn of phrase my friend. That said, I'm very impressed by your engineering prowess, and I've got to say that the 1917A1 conversion is really looking good. The only problems I can foresee with one of those will be transporting it to the range without breaking your back (looks like it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun to try to lift). So out of pure curiosity, I've got to ask if you're going to make it compatible with the Sokolov/Goryunov mounts?

  • @Thatevilmidget

Thanks. Range shooting has shown me that a heavy, full size MG tripod is unnecessary. I shoot my 1st air cooled version on a standard camera tripod. So I am making the 3rd prototype to fit onto a standard aluminum camera tripod. It works really well, and is lightweight. The 3rd prototype is also light because the housing is chiefly aluminum. It could be adapted to fit on regular MG mounts by others, but I'll just be making them to fit onto standard, inexpensive camera tripods.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Sounds good to me. The recoil from the .22lr seems light enough that nothing more than the camera tripod would be necessitated. That said, once it's released and I buy one I'll try to develop a mount to fit in on my Sokolov mount... because that would just make it look awesomely ferocious.

  • @Thatevilmidget

That would be a nice looking combination.

  • @BillAkinsProduction I think the shield is going to be the hardest thing to get on there... but with some minor modifications I think it'll fit. Maybe if I mill a slot into the sides of the receiver at the front it'll slide over without a problem. If I succeed in designing the mount I'll pass along the design specs.

  • @Thatevilmidget

Don't slot the dress up kit's fake receiver. Fake receiver is aluminum and only about 1/8th inch thick. I've been thinking about your Sokolov mount idea. You'd be better off making a light weight look-a-like Sokolov mount scaled down for the smaller dress up kit. Aluminum tubing or small aluminum dolly that you can modify to look like an aluminum shield Sokolov mount. Adapt the mount/shield to fit the gun. The weight & size of the full size Sokolov is unnecessary & not to scale.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Good point. I think I can do scale model of it without too much trouble (except the shield, which might be slightly annoying to build, but with a little bit of elbow grease it shouldn't be too much of an obstacle).

  • Would you have to have a class 3 license for this?

  • @BlackSabbath1204

No license required. It's just a different stock on a semi-auto Ruger 10/22 rifle that is also using a BMF activator trigger crank to fire by cranking like a Gatling gun.

The BMF activator (clamp on trigger crank activator) is sold by various vendors including Cabela's and does not require any license or registration. In Calif and Minn trigger activators are illegal. But if you don't live in either of those two states, you can have the BMF. My stock is legal in all states.

  • I WANT ONE SANTA

  • @tonyktx44

Lol, be patient. It will still be awhile until we get the final prototype completely finished, but once we do, we will be replicating them and opening up a website for sales. When that happens, I will post of that here. Thank you for your positive comment and interest.

  • кабздец ))))

  • @TeslaTiamat

I'm not sure what you wrote in Russian (I think), but I hope it was good. Lol.

  • You based it off the Browning 1919 right? I could never remember the name for that sight lol. I've always called it a sahrps sight.

  • @knifecollector93

The air cooled version I made to resemble the Browning 1919 aircraft model and the truly water cooled version I made to resemble the Browning water cooled 1917 model.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Nice, I should have noticed lol. Awsome idea, really great looking weapons.

  • @knifecollector93

Thanks very much. Glad you like them.

  • @knifecollector93 there called peep sights

  • Is that California legal?

  • @poopsquish

No, Calif and Minn are the only two states that do not allow a crankfire trigger activator.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Even if it's one round per crank?

  • @poopsquish

Calif and Minn both have state statutes which although they actually violate our 2nd amendment, (as do most gun laws) they state that trigger activators are illegal in those states. Most crankfire trigger activators fire four times per each crank revolution. But it does not matter how slowly you crank, Calif and Minn unconstitutionally outlaw a crankfire trigger activator even being installed on a rifle. One of them allows you to own it, but not install it. Crazy & unconstitutional

  • @poopsquish

It is illegal to just install the trigger activator on your firearm in Calif or Minn. Whether you fire it or not. It makes no sense and is unconstitutional, but there it is.

  • @poopsquish Nothing is California legal.

  • educational!! 3:38...OMG...

  • @MovimentoModerno1987

Thanks. Yes it is good to teach young people firearms safety

and how to safely handle firearms. Without us as teachers,

firearms knowledge for civilians would die out in a generation

or two, with only an all powerful government left with that knowledge.

So to preserve freedom, we must teach young people what we know so

they in turn can pass it on to their children.

  • Nothing more American that Americans with automatic weapons on a weekend, God Bless this nation (even if it is a PITA to own an auto these days).

  • @greenvaepor Thanks, I feel the same way, but you do understand though, that a crank fire actuated firearm like this is not an automatic.

  • @BillAkinsProduction

Yessir, was more commenting on your location and day than the .22 itself. Sounded like you were at an Auto-shoot day to me :p

  • @greenvaepor Oh, roger that, I understand what you meant now. Yes we were at a machine gun shoot and you are certainly correct that Americans with automatic firearms is a great way to spend the weekend shooting and enjoying theirselves.

  • Great for mowing down those pesky squirrels rabbits and chucks that eat up your garden. This gun looks so ridiculously fun to shoot. Great job

  • Is this something your going to produce? I'd love to have one of those kits!

  • @ammojunkie Yes. I'm working on a third improved prototype that incorporates a new way of sealing the water jacket, has an improved built in receiver attachment point that doubles as a built in bolt recoil buffer, has one standardized fake receiver that works on the air & water cooled versions, and in about 10 seconds is convertible to either an air cooled or water cooled version. I have a list of people who want one. Send me an I.M. and I will put you on the list to contact when available.

  • @BillAkinsProduction This is legal because its not really full auto right

  • @chadreedfan221

    That's correct chadreedfan221.

It is in the same legal category as a Gatling gun or any other non full auto crank fired gun.

  • @chadreedfan221 fully auto weapons are not illegal... any one can get one as long as they are able to fill certain paper work out and get the correct tax stamp

  • That so cool I love it and I have someting you may like, It's a 22 caliber rodent trap I built, check it out and leave a comment thanks.

  • lol i wouldnt mind mounting that .22 on my jeep :D hahaa

  • Whoa, THE Bill Akins!

Where can I get an accelerator stock?

  • very cool

  • I t reminds me of the vickers .303 (the water cooling system) anyhow the air cooled one i can't seem to see what that would remind me of but it probobly be the only weapon that would strike fear into the hearts of zombies.

  • nice empty belt xD i think ill add 1 to my tactical 1 lol.... make it look like its on drugs haha.. jkjk nice vid

  • dear santa.........

  • cool!!

  • is that 22.cal ?

  • @coppincopp

Yes it is a .22 caliber. It is a Ruger 10/22 semi auto rifle in my specially made water cooled stock.

  • @BillAkinsProduction I'd replace that levelage to an Motorized which spins 12000 RPS =D

  • @L3G3nD0001

I hope you are joking, because that would be ill advised, because unless you are an SOT licensee, (who are licensed to build machine guns), that would turn it into a post '86 illegal machine gun.

  • i thought automatic weapons can be obtained with the proper permit

  • I <3 this gun!!!!!!!

  • hahahaha those things are pretty bad ass

  • No, this is not illegal because you can not fire multiple shots with one pull of the trigger.

  • You are correct, except that the Congressional National Firearms Act law says "FUNCTION" of the trigger, not "PULL". Because a trigger can be "functioned" in more ways than just by pulling and Congress understood this when they wrote the law. The BATFE seems to have a hard time understanding this basic principle of Congressional NFA law. .

  • that gun was just like your first car granpa...wind it up

  • LOL i love how it has fake bullets on the side of it

  • They aren't fake, they are however spent rounds. You can see the firing pin impression at 0:27

  • That's really cool, congratulations!

  • Thanks, glad you liked it.

  • hey bill what if you pull the trigger on a small finger powered generator several times to build up a charge in a battery and then you use that battery to power the motor on the gun then you would have to pull the trigger more than once for each firiing of a round. only you could pull the trigger on the generator several days before, you know for convienance and all.

  • Then the crank fire device would no longer be the trigger. Your electrical switch or you touching a wire to a battery would be the NEW TRIGGER which would fire multiple times for each function, making a machine gun.

The trigger is the part the human directly interacts with to fire the firearm. In your scenario, you'd be creating a NEW trigger when you flipped a switch (new trigger) or touched a wire to the battery (new trigger) to allow the battery to operate a motor.

  • @BillAkinsProduction Bill I was joking. Nice gun though.

  • Cool gun! (No pun intended)

It would have been better without that little Jack-in-the-box hand crank, though. I realize going full-auto is often legally difficult, but maybe you could have engineered some sort of trigger system to bump out bursts of rounds? Or at least a faster semi-auto? I dunno.

  • I invented a bumpfire rifle stock system known as the "Akins Accelerator" which fired once for each separate function of the trigger. Look it up. After TWICE approving it IN WRITING, the BATFE recinded their approval. Define what a "faster" semi auto is. Lol. Suggest how you'd create a "faster" semi auto that wouldn't be an "Akins Accelerator" bumpfire or a crankfire system yet would somehow be "faster" without being full auto? If you can't, I suggest you reflect upon your last two words.

  • To add to my above comment (due to character limitations on each post), you must not know of the law prohibiting manufacture of any full auto AFTER 1986 unless one is an SOT (Special Occupational Taxpayer). So it is more than just "legally difficult" as you suggested, it is ILLEGAL for anyone not an SOT to manufacture a full auto after 1986. You may only register and own what was here BEFORE 1986 if you are not an SOT and an SOT license is expensive and has strict requirements.

  • if you bought a used, pre-1986 10/22, and did that conversion, wouldn't that be legal? sorta like them selling pre-1898 mausers to anyone practically through the mails.

i'd be lucky to get 1 rpm with my spudders LOL!

    nice video

  • No conversion was done on the 10/22. All I did was to build a stock that retained the overall legal length of the firearm in the stock. The stock just happened to be water cooled. The BMF trigger activator is currently legally NOT a machine gun. The date of the 10/22 is irrelevant. Now if you are asking if someone could put a registered pre '86 FULL AUTO 10/22 in my water cooled stock and omit the BMF trigger activator, and have an actual machine gun, the answer is YES.

  • @BillAkinsProduction

suggestion is to mod it and put a electric motor on it, and have it push button! i don't know if thats legal, but its a design idea!

  • Your suggestion is an old & currently ILLEGAL one unless you're an SOT licensee. In law, the trigger of a firearm is the part that the human interacts with to fire the firearm. Your suggestion would cause the firearm to ILLEGALLY fire MORE than one shot for each function of THAT trigger, since the motor push button or drill trigger BECAME THE NEW TRIGGER that the human interacted with to fire the firearm, creating a full auto. Educate yourself on firearms law and what's full auto and what's not.

  • Dear Santa.....

  • very cool

  • good enough for a zombie apocalypse =D

  • @macsgo2hell no, only for mice apocalypse!

  • @SgtZaqq

Lol. A .22 lr to a mouse would be like us taking a hit from a 40mm. So the .22 is really kind of overkill for a mouse. Even a .177 pellet from a pellet gun to a mouse would be like us getting hit with a 10 gauge shotgun slug. If I was a zombie, I wouldn't want to be shot with a .22 lr. Would you? Lots of people have been killed really zombie dead with what some perceive as a lowly .22 lr. It's kinda like the old saying..."It's only a pipsqueak round until you get shot with it". Lol.

  • @SgtZaqq the .22 has more penetration then a 9mm, .44 and pretty much every other round on the market (unless you want to involve range, ballistic vests, ETC)

  • Very cool. I can't see but does it feed one magazine at a time? I have seen a design (upwards of $2000+ for sale) that involves twin barrels and you stick two magazines in the thing.

  • Yes it feeds one mag at a time for now. I've designed a belt feed for it on paper and have made some headway towards building the prototype, but that project is on a back burner until I finish this one and get this kit on the market. When I finish the belt feed for it, the water cooled version will then really come into its own, being able to fire continuously as long as water is kept in the water jacket.

  • Awesome. So I hope you didn't butcher up a real Enfield just for the sight, lol.

  • Of course not. I bought the Enfield sight separately.

  • looks like a maxim

  • more like a browning 1917

  • I designed the water cooled version to resemble the Browning 1917 and the air cooled version to resemble the Browning 1919.

  • nice that is cool

  • thats pretty fuckin sweet! i want one!

  • thats years of machineing skill right there

  • OUTSTANDING!

  • i say thats just as goos at any other one with a trigger, this gives you control

  • thanks for the resonse, bill. i didn't realize that the crankfire counted as a semi-automatic. that is really cool stuff!

  • In the U.S. a rifle/stock combination must be at least 26 inches long, with a 16 inch barrel to avoid paying taxes for a short barreled rifle. My kit conforms to and even exceeds that requirement. There would be no special tax or registration to use the crankfire trigger accessory since that has been classified by the BATFE as semi auto, NOT full auto.

  • yep, thanks very much. do you know anything about laws on pistols with lengthened barrels?

  • As long as the receiver was originally made for a handgun, there are no legal restrictions on how long or how short a handgun barrel has to be. But again, the receiver MUST have been manufactured ORIGINALLY for a handgun. For hanguns made from a rifle receiver, there are legal restrictions and a federal tax required. If you go that route, there would be no restriction on the barrel length either.

  • would you be required to buy a tax stamp for the kit?

  • Of course not! It is just an after market replacement stock and has nothing whatsoever to do with the rate of fire of the host firearm in it. With the 10/22 rifle action placed into the water or air cooled stock kit, the entire unit would be well over the legal requirement of 26 inches for a firearm in a stock length. The BMF activator crankfire accessory is sold by BMF, NOT by me and it already has been classified as legal for almost 30 years by the BATFE. Just like a crank fired Gatling gun.

  • whats this 26 inch requirement? and how much do you have to pay in taxes for an automatic license?

  • @humanentropy

The national firearms act (NFA) requires that the total length of a barreled receiver and stock combination must be a minimum of 26 inches for a rifle. Since it is crank fired, it is not an automatic so you would not have to pay any taxes.

  • Bill, if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times...That's slicker than deer guts on a door knob. Keep up the outstanding work.:)

  • Lol. Thank you very much. I'm trying to keep it up and hoping to eventually have these available as a kit.

  • very nice job you've done there, too bad we cant have stuff like that in Australia because our piss weak government banned semi auto's because they thought it turned people that owned them into mass murders and would reduce suicides too.

  • Thank you. Glad you liked it. Sorry about your gun laws. Your countrymen need to make it an issue to vote out politicians who will not allow them the creator given right to personal defense to keep and bear arms and to vote into office those who will.

  • How can outlawing semi-auto weapons reduce suicide?

After the first shot you should be good to go! Geez.

  • Lol, now there you go, trying to confuse liberal leftists gun grabbers with the facts. Lol.

  • Speaking of liberal leftists gun grabbers, how has that business with the ATF doing? Anywhere closer to victory in the case with your Accelerator?

  • Not yet. We are still working on legal options.

  • Hmm. Well, I hope you have good luck in kicking their ass.

  • I think i saw your gun in one of the lathe forums, nice work!

  • Thank you. Glad you liked it.

  • Nice gun and like the enfild sight mod like the M1919 rep in my videos.

  • Thank you, glad you liked it.

  • how long can u shoot now without overheating?

    sry for my bad english.

    Great Work!

    Greets from Germany

  • I don't fire continuously since it's magazine fed. So that means I have to change mags. That gives a little time for cooling between mag changes. My water cooled model never overheats. One day when I get a belt feed built for it, that will no doubt change and it could then steam the coolant away just like any Browning or Vickers.

But for now, .....Ish kannen fuer ist alles tag und ist nicht heise. Verstadt mein nicht sehr gut Deutsch? Danke mein herren und gutten tag su du.

  • this is sweet!!, also sgt york AWESOME movie

  • Thank you. Glad you like it.

  • that is pure awesomesickpwnageness! keep up the grood wurk bill akins!

  • Thank you for your enthusiastic approval and support. I'm very glad that you like them.

  • what ever happened to the akins accelorator can you still buy them?

  • Regarding my Akins Accelerator rifle stock invention, my attorney has petitioned my case for certiorari to the U.S. Supreme court.. We are waiting to find out if they will hear the case. If they do, great. If not, we have other legal options still open to us. At this time accelerator stocks are not for sale. I cannot discuss particulars of the case at this time. Let's please stay on the subject of these dress up kits here.

  • ok thank you

  • Bill, any chance of you putting the blueprints for this beauty out there? I'm sure there are plenty of guys, myself included, that would like to build one.

  • No, I won't be publishing the blueprints, but am working towards producing them both as air and water cooled kits to install on people's own Ruger 10/22's. With a provisional patent that protects for one year, so I can see if sales warrant a standard patent. My latest 3rd prototype faux receivers are standard and just by changing out the water jacket or air cooling shroud, one can select whichever model one likes. 1919 air cooled, or 1917 water cooled styles. We are slowly getting there.

  • Bill, that is just too damn cool. Keep up the good work.

  • Thank you. Glad you like it.

  • Federal license required?

  • No federal license is required. It's a crank fired semi auto, not a machine gun. Just as a crank fired Gatling gun does not require a federal license.

  • how are the .22 bullets loaded?

  • The are magazine fed for now. Any magazine that fits a Ruger 10/22 rifle will work. From the 10 rd factory rotary magazine, to 20, 25, 30 and 50 rd magazines. I am working on prototyping a belt feed that feeds through the magazine well without any modifications to the firearm. But that will take some months to finish.

  • Thanks. goood luck on the belt feeding.

  • where can i get one?

  • They are not yet available for sale. Air and water cooled models were my initial prototypes. I have almost completed a third improved prototype that will have one standardized fake receiver shell and will quickly change from air cooled to water cooled That is the one I will be producing. When it is finished I will be posting videos of it here. Check in on my videos from time to time and along with videos of it in operation, I will post when the air cooled/water cooled kit is available.
