  • 10: Ok, I'll be honest, I cried when I watched this the second time.

  • I remember the first time I saw Peter pan 2. I was 7 or 8. And I cried very hard. And still cry when I see it..

  • @Treemeadow

Tinkerbell's death was really sad, because I cried so much and I stopped crying when Tinkerbell went back alive. Did you stop crying when Tinkerbell was back alive?

  • The time i cried the most was on "the fox and the hound" when the grandma gave away Todd.:(

  • I LOVE the little mermaid!!!!

  • @Treemeadow

I'm glad you put Peter Pan 2 on there, I cried on that sad scene too.

  • @Treemeadow

My #3 when Tinkerbell dies, I was supposed to put it on #1. I cried so bad, and when I stopped I was almost about to throw up when I cried badly.

  • Hunchback of Notre Dame is the most depressing disney movie, considerin Victor Hugo, the Author is also the man who wrote Les Miserables though...

  • I cried my ass of when i watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame ! :c That's clearly my favorite movie of all time! <3

  • You know, I really don't like The Little Mermaid, Or the Peter Pan sequel. They're the worst movies. I've seen The Little Mermaid at the cinema in 1997 or 1998 and I've seen the Peter Pan sequel on the vhs.

  • Alice in Wonderland is for kids and us adults

the Peter Pan sequel is for little kids

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is for us adults

The Little Mermaid is for girls

Treasure Planet is for kids and us adults

And Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is for kids and us adults.

  • @jakedp100 I beg to differ, I hated the Little Mermaid

  • The saddest moment for me is in Toy Story 2 when Jessie tells Woody about Emily.

  • let's see for me

    1. lilo explaining to stitch about her life before the car crash to stitch who has seen the photo

    2. when Elly from up dies

    3. the beasts death

    5. Rays death

  • Thanks for Peter Pan 2 I bawled my eyes and cried so hard.

  • Snow white is so sad the sky is crying and GRUMPY!!!

  • wow really know of this is sad

  • Peter Pan 2 is the direct to video movie.

  • @jakedp100

It had a theatrical release in Australia, so I assume it was a Theatrical Release in America too.

  • @jakedp100 i cried wehn i though tinker bell was dead

  • @jakedp100 it was released in theatres, look it up

  • Which movie is the first one??

  • @freed0m231 It looks like a version of story of "The Little Match Girl". Which is heart-wrenching, have tissues nearby if you plan to watch it.

  • @Eirthbndr3 thanks much kind friend :)

  • My saddest disney moments are sad and they're in order

#5 Someone's waiting for you song - Rescuers

    #4 Bambi's mother died - Bambi

    #3 Tinkerbell dies - Peter Pan 2

#2 Gurgi dies - Black cauldron

#1 Mufasa dies - Lion King.

The saddest scene that made my cry that was actually Gurgi dies.

  • @thebigall21

I love your Number 5 and 2. Two often forgotten Disney films.

  • Yu should really put the names of the movies on the screen before yu play their clip.. But i still lovee the video!!! What was the movie at 3:45 - 5:45 ?? i completly forgot and i use to LOVEE that movie !!

  • @DeathlyMillenia I believe you are thinking of Treasure Island

  • @MusicFlower97 yeaa i found out ! Thanks! and its actualy Treasure Planet!! :D

  • @DeathlyMillenia Where did i get Treasure Islandd?? that's totally what i was thinking of! that movie scared the crap ouutaa me when i was little!!

  • i so love this video it so cool and so sweet and so sad to

  • I'd hear Jane call for Tinkerbell if she had a best behavior. Why would she shout rudely in this clip? If you didn't put this Peter Pan sequel, you'd put The Original Peter Pan in this clip.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh gosh, I sobbed when I saw the ending of The Little Match Girl for the first time. Even now I'm barely containing it.

  • whether they come back or not a sad moment is a sad moment and Quasi or Jane didn't know that they would come back same with Belle. Also did u know that the same music that plays in Snow white when they mourn her is the same music that plays when they believe Baloo is dead. and i think in that moment when u c grumpy cry is when u cry.

  • whether they come back or not a sad moment is a sad moment and Quasi or Jane didn't know that they would come back same with Belle

  • Not a single tear, dude...Not a single tear...

  • @kagoon0709 The hunchback of Notre Dame was from Disney! :D

  • ehh..i'm sure the hunchback of notre dame wasn't disney..

  • the funeral music from snow white always hits me hard

  • Erm, dude.... where's the Lion King?

  • @mollygibbs101

    erm, dude...read the title?

Disney moments that "Made me Cry"

If it didn't make me cry, it's not on the list.

  • @Treemeadow How did the Lion King not make you cry? Kudos to your steel eyes, my friend, I blubber every time

  • @mollygibbs101

I was only 5 when I saw it, and I sort of expected it, so it wasn't so sad for me.

  • The marriage scene from the Little Mermaid never fails to make me cry. T_T

  • Tinker Bell comes back in that very scene, right?

  • Tinkerbell dies? Which movie is that from?

  • @breanntheartist1989 The movie is called Return to Neverland. It's the sequel to Peter Pan

  • do they have any disney movies with sad endings?

  • @nickiminajownsapanda Pocahontas is the only one I can think of

  • @PirateWizardRebel It isn't really sad because it has a sequal to it that ends happily, but if it was one movie, then it could be sad, but it still isnt cry material. :P

  • @nickiminajownsapanda The ending to the second one sucked though :P

  • @PirateWizardRebel I know, its sad, because when i was a little kid i thought the blondie was hott

  • at 1:16 i was like" FOR GODS SAKE CLAP!!!!" 0.0

  • Comment removed

  • The Little Mermaid scene always gets to me

  • Jane sounds like Hermione from Harry Potter.

  • alice sounded like she was laughing

  • 50% who watched Disney Japan's new movie From Up On Poppy Hill cried.

  • disney doesn't often make me cry because with disney there's always a happy ending, I can't believe they changed romeo and juliet! that's a classic and hey had to go and it a a happy ending hapy endings don't always happen!

  • Awwwww, seeing Morph cry was heartbreaking! :'(

  • OH I BELIEVE!!! I BELIEVE!!! *clapping as hard as I can* COME BACK TINK!!!!!

  • OH I BELIEVE!!! I BELIEVE!!! *clapping as hard as I can*

  • The Snow White "death" scene, nearly made me cry :(

  • what's the first one? ):

  • @BrokenHeartedGirl117

little match girl- it's a short, and it's here on youtube

  • @Treemeadow why did treasure planet make you cry the only disney film that made me cry was the lion king

  • @mrclankdog i know? the lion king is to hard to resised! most enportantly when mufasa died ! :(

  • @BrokenHeartedGirl117 The Little Match Girl; a cartoon short based on another fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen (the very depressed guy who wrote the original The Little Mermaid); it was released on the 2008 Little Mermaid DVD.

  • @ztslovebird Thank you :D Yes, the danish dude - I live in Denmark (:

  • why esmerralda died ? :....(

  • i didn't know disney did a version of the little match girl. that was one of the saddest stories i read when I was little.

  • Here i thought since I'm 19 and a male that i wouldn't cry a single bit so i was cruising along the video and i thought it was sad at first but then the Snow White part comes on and... that totally got me in tears...

  • Dopey made me cry, dang it.

  • i wouldve been sad, but it was peter pan 2. its not real!

  • o0? None of DIsney is really real, but I believe the great lbus Dumbledoore once said-

"Of course it's all in your head, Harry, but why should that make it any less real?"

And also- Peter Pan 2 is based on one of J.M Barrie's Peter Pan novels- making it one of the more accurate Disney sequels. So, it is real. Nothing wrong with a well-written sequel.

  • @Treemeadow Almost all of the old Disney movies were baced off of something, like Lion King was baced off of Hamlet. It wasn't just peter pan.

  • Well, yes, the story was based on it, but it was not a direct adaption, like Peter Pan, or any of the other book-based films.

  • @Treemeadow Well, it has a great beginning and a great end - but the inbetween in fairly run of the mill, the animation is fairly insulting AND HOW COULD THEY REPLACE THE CROCODILE!!!!! I'm not really opposed to sequels, if they are made by the main animation studio - Fantasia 2000 and Rescuers Down Under really respected the Classic. But the toon studios should stick to finding their own niche.

  • @swanpride

DisneyToon doesn't exist anymore, or so I've heard. Maybe I'm just thinking about the AUstralian studio. I agree, I think sequels should be made by the main studio, while DisneyToon works on originals or TV characters- they did amazingly with A Goofy Movie. I don't count DisneyToon as being part of the Theatrical Feature canon unless it's listed as one of them.

  • what was the first scene from?

  • I made it most of the way without sheading a tear but when I saw Snow White, I burst out crying :'I

  • Oh my goodness, Jane's voice is terrible.

  • which movie was the first one?

  • @newmoonfriendship It's just a Disney extra called The Little Match Girl.

  • treasure planet such a movie

  • I want a Morph!

  • fox and the hound , dont wear mascara while watching

  • noooooooooooooooooooooo tink!!!!!!!!! my role model for 6 years!

  • I Loved The 2nd Peter Pan Movie:Return To Neverland It Was My Favourite

  • o my god notre dame that wonderful music the fact that quisemoto worked incredibly hard to save her

  • Oh God...when Tink "died", I cried my eyes out... I could have died of excessive sobbing D':

  • @IIIpaperflowersIII I saw this movie. The reason Tinkerbell "died" is because Wendy's daughter doesn't believe in fairies.(If you're a Harry Potter fan, you could call her a Muggle).

  • Snow White...ok I'm bawling now lol. Thanks for this, Ash xx

  • @Moonlightsiesta

No worries ^-^ Friend me hre on Youtube :D

  • Look, I don't think it was a good idea to put Return to Neverland in this clip. I mean it's not a good peter pan sequel. You should've got rid of it because The Original Peter Pan is better.

  • lol, bat troll is bad.

  • @jakedp100 People are entitled to their own opinions. This video is made from the maker's personal sad disney moments, not best movies, so you have no right to tell them what they should and shouldn't include. If you want to show your own opinion, go make your own video.

  • @Cottontail20

    You're awesome.

  • @Treemeadow Thank you :)

  • Thank god i was a 90's kid

  • Can anyone tell me what movie the first clip is from? I don't recognize it.

  • The Litle Mtchgirl- it's a short.

  • @Treemeadow Ah, okay. Thanks! :)

I wondered why I hadn't seen it before.I could have sworn I'd seen nearly all the Disney movies.

  • ok this video should forewarn spoilers! I just lost interest in about 4 disney movies!!!

  • I don't put spoiler warnings on movies more than 10 years old...if you haven't seen them yet, your loss.

  • @jositerran You should've realized the chances that there would have been spoilers....

  • Disney ends are always sad

  • Where is MUFASA?!?!

  • Didn't make me cry. Didn't count.

  • @Treemeadow lion king is one of the greatest disney movies and mufasa's death was one of the saddest and it did not make you cry? WTF?

  • First of all- this is part ONE. How do you know it isn't on part 2?

Two- it ISN'T on part 2- but I as 5 when I first saw it. You go back in time and take it up with five year old me, but frankly- Mufasa's death seemed a little melodramatic to me. Its sad, yeah- heartbreaking. But the requirements for this vid were that it had to make me cry the first time I saw it.

Also- WTF- dude, get a grip. Ppl are allowed to think differently to you- wow, dude.

  • @Treemeadow Relax. I wasn't saying WTF to patronize you but just saying WTF in general. It is noted to be pretty much the saddest scene in all disney films, seeing as I see it everywhere made in over 20 diff languages on youtube for some reason. I was only responding to the fact that you said " didn't make me cry, didn't count" and just was shocked by it thats all. Never said you HAD to cry over it geez lol

  • When you get upwards of 50 emails a week telling you that you're a "heartless loser" (if not more abusive)for not crying over an animated sequence, I'd like to see you react so calmly.

  • @Treemeadow thats pretty sad that people would go out of their way to send you 50 emails to troll you but the thing is, you did post up videos in regards to " sad moments in disney" some people are just too sensitive to that i suppose.

  • @Treemeadow If you thought Mufasa's death was melodramatic then you are a soulless monster...

  • @Nero641Xx Haha, same, in fact I never used to cry watching FatH when I was like like 7, now I cry every time

  • The only two times I've almost cried in disney movies (or ANY movie, for that matter) were when Widow Tweed leaves Tod in the forest alone with "Goodbye may seem forever" playing, and when Copper stands in front of Tod with the hunter about to shoot him (Both, of course, from The Fox and the Hound).

  • @yogozarfy

You havent gotten to prt 2 yet :)

  • 0:26 can someone please tell me what that movie is??? I still can't remember it even though I've watched this vid loads!!

  • It's an animaed short called "The Little Matchgirl", it's often on the Little Mermaid dvd. It's also here on Youtube somewhere.

  • @lucasdep1 you must be a child, because a real man knows emotion has nothing to do with gender.

  • Tinkerbell was a snot, so I didn't feel bad for her, although the scene still made me cry. By the way, I am NEVER watching the Hunchback from Notre Dame!

  • I paused at the Snow White one

    too sad

  • Disney just wins at making heart breaking scenes. :'(

BTW The Wild was started BEFORE Dreamworks made Madagascar! They are the film stealing scum, not Disney! Same for Antz.

  • The little match girl is 1# for me thats sad

  • fox and the hound when shes putting todd in the forest ftw

  • we need Sad pits in films it just the it works

  • @TheEvanescent1994 Yeah Little Mermaid only had one part that I like it was when Melody and Ariel sang the song "For a Moment"

  • You know, in the German stage adaptation, Clopin responded a whole lot better to Esme's death than I expected him to. It was very well done on Chris Murray's part. Too bad I couldn't understand a word of it, and all I had was a grainy video recording. But still, he really got the point across.

  • @TheEvanescent1994

Those don't count. I only count the Animated Theatrical releases in the Disney Canon. Sequels are DIsney-toon, and real life ones are DisneyChannel. They are all run by different programs within the giant DIsney corporation, and not really connected.

  • @TheEvanescent1994 dont forget the wild, ripping off other movies is a new low for them

  • @tommygun641

The Wild isn't really a recent film- I remember watching it in 2007, which means production began in 2004/2005 at the very latest. Nearly 10 years ago. It was before the leadership of John Lasseter.

  • @tommygun641 and Valient (2004)

  • Sad and I still cry at 41 yrs old. It's an animated film yet it still gets to me

  • The one where Tinker Bell "dies" made me cry so much when I was little, and now I'm still crying when I see it.

  • I noticed at 1:30 and a bit before with the little girl, uhm they used her to copy the little mermaid daughter melody! im like whaaaaaat!

  • Now that i watch the scene from wsnowwhite, the part when grumpy started sobbing was so devasting for me, even at this age... 19

  • @LuigiLonLon My thoughts exactly. Get's me every time actually.

  • That part in the Little Mermaid always makes cry like it's so sad.

  • The Princess and the Frog and the Lion King were the only two that got me until I saw Tinkerbell die in this one. </3

  • HOnestly, I cry at almost every Disney movie. Even if it has no infamous tear-jerking moments like Cinderella or Alice in Wonderland (sorry, I personally wouldn't call the Very Good Advice song a tear-jerker, I found it cheesy and out of place), I cry at the happiest moments, or during the opening or closing chorus outbursts.

  • Aww I cried at the end of Snow White as well when I was a little girl! However, strangely enough, I watched that film all the time!

  • i cried so fucking hard to hunchback of notre dame

  • @MegaWolflover1

Treasure Planet, 2002- possibly one of Disney's most under-rated films, alongside Atlantis (2001) and The Black Cauldron

  • @Treemeadow and I'd also say The Hunchback of Notre Dame

  • thw hunchback of notre dame really got me :(

  • everyone has told me that Treasure Planet was one of the movies in Disney's junky era, but i thought it was really good.

  • It wasn´t Snow White´s "death" what make me cry, but Grumpy´s reaction.....and dopey of course

  • It wasn´t Snow White´s "death" what make me cry, but Grumpy´s reaction

  • @6:22, is in my opinion, one of the most emotion-wrenching shots Disney has ever created. I want to chuckle and cry at the same time... poor Dopey...

  • OMG Treasure Planet is such a underrated movie!

  • 4:45 breaks me. Cute little critters crying is all it takes :(

  • who saw the green flash in 1:41

  • i still cry on all of these movies. i am 67 years old man right now, and i cry so much :(

  • for some reason i fund the sad things funny but oh well

  • I think to really cry in this video, you need to know thr whooole story

  • Oh Silver *cries* you big softy you.

  • OK i will check it out btw im 13 so i dont know...
