u could have turned engines to idle while hovering on the runway ..would have saved u the trouble of swaying from side to side (cuz both engines would be uniform at idle)..........u never give reverse thrust for only one engine
Minimum drag to be able to climb and maintain altitude on one engine. The more flaps you have out the worse your performance is going to be. This is why i waited until I had the runway made before using the right amount of flaps.
I had to be because i was heavy with PAX, Cargo, and fuel and needed to keep that Angle of Attack for a good over-weight landing. Since i was going from KSFO to KBOS and only got about mid way so i still had lots of cruise fuel onboard and i didn't burn much in the desent down to approach and land.
It comes witht the Freeware and Payware virsions of FSPassengers Addon for FS2004/FS9. I'm sure there is other seperate GPWS addons that are out there but I haven't found any that install on all of the planes automatically like it does when it comes with the FSPassengers addon.
I had to do that Knife Edge approach because that was the only way to keep my speed up. Its basically performing a "Tail-Slip" Manuver but keeping in the full power. The fusalage is an airfoil that produces lift remember, even though it does it very inefficiantly. That is what my CFI told me when I was going through my Private Pilot Flight Training.

Man, that 777 must have terrible flight dynamics for you to knife edge the approach that way ;oP VERY nice recovery on the touchdown!
