Puyol is from a village which economy is based (among other things) in agriculture and cattle farming. That's why his character loves sheeps and does or say things rather typycal for a cattle farmer than for a footballer.

People, I must add (sorry but I really didn't know it) that Puyol ACTUALLY has as a pet a sheep called Queca. =) That's the reason of everything. I'm sorry...I thought it was because of his hometown...
