@RedneckRollerCoaster well, featured in this video are a type of sucker and bull trout. but the lake also holds kokanee, sockeye salmon, whitefish, pikeminnow, and a variety of other fish, like scuplins.
This is in Stanley, Idaho correct? and where exactly did this dive take place because me and my family have been camping up there for little over five years now and we would have never thought to dive there
@Daraki1337 Correct, Stanley Idaho and this footage was taken at the Fishhook creek inlet next to the visitor center. It's just down the road from the lodge. The sucker school footage was taken under the main dock. Great visibility in Redfish and tons of fish!
I go spearfishing every week here in Utah, but it's tough to find good visibility in many of the lakes. Bear Lake and Flaming Gorge are probably the best ones for visibility. I'm going to Flaming Gorge on the 8th and 9th of August 2010 to spearfish for Burbot and what not. I'll post the videos from that trip. Should be fun! If you want to you can check out some of my other spearfishing videos. Just click on my screen name.
@kookooDragonballs Hey dragonballs... thanks for the comments. Yes, as far as I know you can spearfish in redfish lake with the following condition: only non-game fish may be targeted. that pretty much means only suckers. no trout, salmon, whitefish, etc. I have not done it yet myself but plan to the next few days. I will take some video of that, as well as posting up some more vid of bull trout and salmon.
Dude! Awesome footage! It makes me want to go back and try out some diving of my own! I can't believe how many Suckers there were in that school! Thanks for the video!!
Man, seeing all those lunkers just a toss away, makes my mouth water...for Fried Trout!
