The only advantage that I could imagine this having would be increase traction. It would act as something like big off road tires(with 4 big knobby bits, instead of many smaller one usually on off road tires) It would suck for speed, and power output need to drive this thing, because there'll be extra vertical travel for each 90 degree turn(This would create extra traction, but....). It seems silly
