Tex Avery was a director of many well known animated shorts from the 40's and 50's. That pre-dates the Muppets by a few decades.

So Cloris Leachman is a survivor of a shipwreck who winds up on a desert island to be terrorized by a monster, and is then saved by another monster.

That's a strange set up if there ever was one.

Wish I could be on that show, I would be a wolf puppet (a good guy one). It'd be a good thing for this episode too, if those pigs tried to take over I could just come up and go: "You know, I really love pigs....especially when they're bacon!" And then all those pigs would run away so fast that they'd cause Roadrunner of Looney Tunes to quit!

I love Chloris Leachman,she was so funny as the dizzy Phyllis in The Mary Tyler Moore Show,then the spinoff Phyllis,as well as starring in several Mel Brooks films.
