I've made myself completely ok with this voice actor by telling myself that the movies and OVAs are from a time when Lina was younger and had not met Gourry yet because this voice does seem to have a more childish quality to it, and therefore completely plausible...or so I tell myself.

Where in the Slayers timeline does this movie and the rest of the movies take place? before she meets Gourry and the rest? or before? And if it's after, how come Lina's always traveling alone at the start of these movies? somebody explain

@Axtlar Naga the Serpent is a sorceress who laughs like a maniac, wears almost no clothes, is narcissistic, and views herself and Lina as arch-rivals. She might also be the older sister of Amelia, and the crown princes of Seyruun. She appears in all the movies and OVAs, and indirectly in either Slayer Revolution or Evolution-R, I forget which. Luna, to my knowledge, has never appeared in the anime, be it movie, OVA, or normal series.

@Evildoctorwho I see.Well Nama appears in Evolution R.I just watched it all and, to be honest, I wasn't satisfied: I wanted to see the whole cast (Martina, Zangulus, Fillia) also wanted to see Luna, Zelgadis turn into human again, the whole gang going to finally eat their coveted "dragon's delight" dish (since in Slayers Try, the cook supposedly said it takes months to make, so it's a no-brainer to have that in this in case it's the last season, which I'm sure it is) AND also Lina marry Gourry.

I don't know about the voice work. I mean, I kinda like Cynthia's version of Lina, it makes her sound more of a bitch. As renowned as Lisa may be, her Lina can get pretty high-pitched at times. I mean, really high.

But then I also like Monica Rial's voice, and we all know where that's been.

Yeah Slayers The Motion Picture is in 8 parts it might take about 90 minutes or so to watch each part. I'm just guessing/estimating. But thankfully it's dubbed in english. AL *sigh* All Lina does is eat/think about is food. At 4:06 Naga The Serpent is burned by Linas fireball spell.
