Personally I don't believe in hell. There's nothing like hell until they meet the Romans who believe in a version of hell. On top of that God is described as merciful, would he really put a little girl into hell because she doesn't know Jesus yet? Would a merciful God throw someone who really was this ignorant into hell? Think about this people. Things like this are saying you go to hell just because you don't know. That doesn't sound merciful to me.

We deserve Hell. I deserve Hell for the wrong I have done. I'm thankful for a savior that saved me not only from Hell, but also from suicide a couple years back. Jesus Christ is my savior forever. Well its not about trying to scare anyone. Its the fact that after death there is no more chance, so you have the chance now to rethink your life and make changes. Turn to Jesus he loves you but Salvation is a gift that you must receive because we all have free will (the choice to choose) so God can not force himself on you....but God said he has set before us life and death and he said to us to choose life. In a non-metaphorical, entirely chemical and physical reaction between the various chemicals in the air and the nerves covering our entire body. We can prove wind exist. We know what causes it and what its made of. We can even predict (within reason) when, where, and with what intensity the wind will occur at. I've read the bible, I was raised as a christian, and I don't feel any divine influence in any of my organs.

Jesus the Son of God died on the cross to redeem us from our sins. He is our savior from eternal damnation. One doesn't need a savior when one doesn't view himself as a sinner. What I really don't understand, and I hope someone can explain to me, is how Christians are not in complete pyschological devastation?

In a non-metaphorical, entirely chemical and physical reaction between the various chemicals in the air and the nerves covering our entire body. We can prove wind exist. We know what causes it and what its made of. We can even predict (within reason) when, where, and with what intensity the wind will occur at. I've read the bible, I was raised as a christian, and I don't feel any divine influence in any of my organs.

So the next time you'r tempted by the flesh try your hardest to resist even if it means leaving the room or the house so you can collect yourself again and if you cannot resist don't be discouraged, Jesus died so that our sins can be forgiven. Ask him to forgive you and come into your life again and remember that it's usually us who stray from the Lord, the Lord never really leaves us.

Paul says do not participate in the deeds of darkness (aka sinful acts), but reprove, another words saying, but to make it open, or known to sinners. SO, again I proved you there is no misunderstanding in these translation. By the way John the Baptist rebuked king Herod that he took his brother's wife. According to you, he shouldn't have done that.

What I really don't understand, and I hope someone can explain to me, is how Christians are not in complete pyschological devastation?
It seems to me, if there was a deity controlling the universe and the fate of every human being and he was going to sen most of them to burn in eternal unimaginable agony for billions upon billions of years, the only reasonable response to this is despair. How could anybody be calm while holding this belief? It doesnt make sense to me.

@106141214 thats one reason Jesus sent the holyghost after he died. the holyghost is a comforter, God gives grace in times when one should loose their mind. also, as a christain myself, God made a way of escape and if a person chooses to ignore it then it's on them. yes it hurts to know people who died without christ, any REAL christian will feel that way, but the holyghost comes to comfort, guide, correct, reveal, discern,and rebuke.

You have NOT provided ANY biblical proof of this yet. A vague verse that described a man who KNOWS what is right and does not do it, says NOTHING about children or the mentally disabled. It only describes an act when someone is CHOOSING to do something they know is wrong.

So I went back and read James 4:17 which is actually making a reference to people boasting about a life style that follows profit instead of one that follows Gods will.
