While this may show your skill with a razor, the cut is not flattering to the model used.
In fact, that style is not flattering on any woman.
The difference between a great stylist and a famous one - the famous one wouldn't cut just to cut. The style must make the woman more attractive or it is pointless, and not something you'd want to put your name on.
@D45ist Thank you for commenting. Are you inferring I am Famous? ;-) Thank you for that! ... As an Artist I create custom cuts. I left the rule book long ago... now having the Freedom to create a custom style that the Client desires and will fall in love with. In this video, my Hair Model requested an extreme custom hair cut that peeked in asymmetry. If you rewatch this video you will see that each razor cut is very intended not just "cut" without purpose or reasoning. Freehand razor rocks!
@D45ist Who do you think YOU are? Some kind of style maven who can dismiss someone's work like that? Why don't you go shut yourself up in the bathroom and take a look at Your hair?
@DomBarber Thank you for commenting. I believe the right razor that a Stylist loves can help create fantastic custom cuts. The Art of the Razor truly allows a Stylist to create beautiful custom cuts. There are hair types that would never call for a razor... but when there is a hair type and style that is perfect for a razor - Let the FUN BEGIN!! ;-)
@chockybickbick Thank you for commenting and asking. I absolutely love Yasaka Shears. I started using them in 1986 and have had a very difficult time trying to change. My favorite is the 5.5 Yasaka. I also own a 7 and a 3.5. However, PRO shear sharpening is a MUST! I have a Pro Shear sharpener who arrives to the Salon every few months. No matter the name brand, it is the metal and how sharp it sharpens that matters! Plus, how they feel in your hand! :-) Smiles right back at ya!
@Sisthenekotruth It's imagination and architecture come to life!! I always take the natural growth pattern and texture into account!! And from that info, and from what the Client and I decide to create... that is where I begin. :-) After 25 years of doing hair... I believe I may qualify for a Doctorate. :-) Skills have definitely developed over time... but it is the LOVE of this ART that fuels me on and on! Every NEW Client is a NEW Creation! Never is there a dull moment! :-) SmIles!
Is this what women have become? What a shame, an ugly future in fashion and style is ahead of us.

I see so many people rocking this style in the town I'm from. I personally think it's the mullet of the 21st century.

great skill but not the best choice of cut for your client, even if she does ask for extreme you gotta find something to suit her profile
