do people still race like in initial d or do they just drift for fun now? when ever i see a drift video they dont look like they're racing or they're only drifting one corner over and over again.
@blazelmtdedtn in the late 80's it was more for the fun of controling a car, but then it developed into hardcore racing(which initial d was based on) and now that its so popular ppl only drift what they can(one corner or whatever) and its more fun now. but around the 90's it was for SPEED not SHOW!!!!!
@blazelmtdedtn also, go to my friends channel and look at his older touge vids (username TWIMTURBORS) he also has alot of rally vids if u like those.....
@AE86TougeRacer Yes I know this is from initial D. But like I said, I wouldn't try anything from Initial D on this touge, specially with on coming traffic.
@AE86TougeRacer my friend. you are misunderstanding what I am saying. I seen that video, you are crazy (In a good way). But my original post meant, I would never have the guts to tackle this touge myself.
@LonewolfSaichi oohhhh, it doesn't take that much guts. first you just gotta cruise and jsut get faster and faster with each run, then it just becomes so fun that u wanna drift and then it goes on and on......(ps start with uphill)
@LonewolfSaichi not were i go(in america, GMR touge in so-cal). the cops are stricter in japan. it just takes time for them to go to the mountains IF there are any cops nearby and IF they notice all the burnt tire smell and high pitch exhaust tones and stuff. there aren't that many cops stationed in the middle of mountains also, japan is 80% mountains(its technically one giant mountain range out of the ocean) and trust me THERE ARE WINDING ROADS EVERYWHERE U GO! some are raced on, others aren't
this... wow.. so they actually did replicate akagi on BG3

Looks like a fun drive. But no way in hell would I do anything from Initial D on this touge, or any of the other touges.

@AE86TougeRacer an island in the middle of the pacific. it's not that we lack touges, its just cops are strict that they check the touges also...
