I think the problem here was not the quality engineering of a swedish car (which is essentially a Vauxhall Vectra rebadged!) but the retard driver who clearly is worse than a woman. Saying that - he does look a little bit like a woman and has women's breasts!
don't rev the car... bring up the clutch slowly without your foot on the throttle, really gently and if it's only a slight incline, however icy/snowy it is you'll get up it if you slowly ride it out. it works, honestly!
with front wheel drive is better to go up backwards and of corse put winter/snow tires on the car

Very true - sensible swedes use studded tyres in winter. Also backing up on a slippery incline in a FWD car is sometimes more effective.

The problem is not the Saab, but the tyres. You need winter tread tyres for these conditions.
