@fidget68 They're doing WV accents. Lol. My college is doing this, and we're a college in southern WV. The original "Bat Boy" was found in a cave in Hope Falls, WV in 1992 supposedly.

Yeah I couldn't do an Australian accent to save my life. The main thing they do in this production is do this weird thing where they over enunciate their T's. I know in England they tend to kind of cut off their T's at the end of words, but we still don't say ours that sharp here in America, it sounds a bit strange.

@fidget68 The emphasis on the T is because it is a stage production. You emphasize sharp consonants so they don't get lost at the ends of words. It's proper enunciation unless you are strictly leaving off your T's for more "extreme" accents like cockney.
