  • y'all are idiots for caring what this little "420" faggot has to say, if you were true lusky fans you wouldnt give A SINGLE FUCK AND WOULD JUST LISTEN! 10/10 song!!

  • still one of the best bands!

  • AND WE'RE ALL GOIN' STRAIT TO HELL

  • my dog just demanded that I let him outside. so I did.

  • my dog just demanded that I let him outside. so I did.

  • People Call Me Hipster All The Time For The Music I Listen To Usually And Mclusky Isn't Really Part Of My Normal Wheel House But I Fcuken Love This Band and Song So Whatever Screw It I Don't Care What Other People Think This Just Kills Period!

  • @F00LSG0LD215 People Call Me An Asshole Because I Capitalize Every Word I Type.

  • Yay, let's argue about music so we all sound like elitist jerks, then let's argue about who's mainstream so we sound like elitist HIPSTER jerks. Yes, I just said hipster.

  • bahahaha.. everyone search for 'katatonia' (where Viva fuckhead 420 got his name) and then let's talk about what mainstream is..

  • Just Amazing

  • I loooooooooove it !

  • I heard this on One Tree Hill and I loveee it

  • we try to cover this, love it!

  • Who the hell said these guys were mainstream? haha! My underground library goes pretty deep and I didn't hear about these guys until a few months ago. I'm still discovering a ton of great bands that have been around I have never heard of. Anyone who says these guys are mainstream is a fucking idiot lol!

  • This song blew my tiny American mind.

  • "We take more drugs than a touring funk band" -clearly an homage to Bill Hicks', "I don't do drugs any more...than say, the average touring funk band."

  • Nice! Thank you very much for Sharing!

  • LOVE THIS SONG!<3

  • This is a good, raunchy song. Love it for what it is. Tune into something else if you don't. It's that simple,

  • LOL @ below discussion. Some of us kids just like the loud guitars mom, we always have ever since hard rock existed. And I could give a fuck if it's punk rock or art rock or math rock or grunge rock or garage rock or post-whatever rock, it either sucks or it doesn't and Mclusky does NOT suck. If you want to pick on somebody, pick on fucking Maroon 5 or something like a normal person.

  • hey im new to this kind of music AND I LOOOVER THIS SONG , do anyone have any suggestions of what song i would enjoy?? please :)

  • @monashow Look for Future of the Left

  • I love this song man...even my band is influenced from the mighty Mclusky

  • I LOVE this song.

    (':

  • Damn it. My headaches!!

  • Hah. "We do more drugs than a touring funk band."

That's a reference to a Bill Hicks joke: “I don't do drugs anymore... than say, the average touring funk band.”

    What a fucking great band.

  • Nice

  • my comment is bigger than your comment...

  • @VivaEmptiness420 Music is a very personal experience. What's amazing for one person is total crap for another. The most emphatic example I can think of is between Metallica and Justin Bieber. I love Metallica and, to a polar opposite, despise Justin Bieber. Why? Because that's my musical taste. There are hundreds of thousands of teenage girls who would be totally diferent to me.

This principle is for every band, of even similar genres. Music is just one of those things...

  • @VivaEmptiness420

Hold on guy, did you just refer to Mclusky as being "mainstream"?

It's a fucking noise-rock band from Wales dude, most of us had to go out of our ways to find this. And what makes this band so special to me is the unique sense of humor and the balls-out garage-y noise they churn out. The energy, the flippancy and the snide attitude, hell, the riff for this song is fucking immoral. Just because they don't masturbate over technical skill doesn't mean they aren't fantastic.

  • @LubricatedSquirm yeah because they've been doing that for how long now? god damn, society is just so content with mediocrity these days...

and yeah "guy" i did refer to them as mainstream, because they sound like every other shit band you hear on the radio or some lame asses parents. the fact that they use lots of noise to make up for a lack of skill is what makes them suck

  • @LubricatedSquirm and trust me, i am a big fan of post rock, and most that stuff isn't very technical, but it's still amazing. so don't come around here and fucking preach to me about energy and the atmosphere of a song. i know the difference between a song i don't like and i song that i know sucks. if you want to keep clinging to this "balls out garagy noise" grunge noise rock shit, be my guest. but the 90's are over, my friend.

  • @VivaEmptiness420 you're probably going to reply with some half-witted remark anyway because i hurt your feelings by calling this shitty band, a shitty band. so fuck it, i don't care. i'll be off listening to my awesome music and making good music while you continue to listen to retards abuse musical instruments

  • @VivaEmptiness420

Ah, post-rock, so you're a flannel-clad arm-crosser with thick rimmed glasses? Look pal, no one asked you to tell them how to listen to music. If you wanna listen to GY!BE, go for it, but for you to come here and tell everyone that they're riff-raff for liking Mclusky is the quintessence of being "preachy". Maybe you're too cerebral to appreciate visceral noise, fine, but I happen to like it, and if you think that's a 90s fad you need to pick up the Stooges' 69 self-titled.

  • @VivaEmptiness420

Please PM me the list of there 100 bands.

  • @Emberland look, i know you're desperate to find better music. but i simply don't have the time. you're probably too narrow minded to enjoy it anyway

  • @VivaEmptiness420

You are named after a decent Katatonia album. It's a shame you consistently ruin it with what you say.

  • @VivaEmptiness420 haaaa someone doesn't understand that people have different opinions. no one has the right to call a band shitty, if you like it good, if not then shut up and leave.

  • listened to this song 2 months ago. about a fortnight ago im at work writing a song in my head. little did i know i was just remembering this song. fucken radddddddd

  • What's up with the Ed Hardy garbage art?

  • Sing it

  • ok shut up with the whole which country has better music shit, best music country is ghana, u know why? because every concert is a riot

  • “I don't do drugs anymore... than say, the average touring funk band.”

    -bill hicks

  • My dick's bigger than your dick !!!

  • Vote McLuskyist

  • if you think this song is shit then im afraid that your shit and nothing in the world is going to save you now because your so far gone youve gone all white and crusty

  • Thumbs up if you liked Mclusky when they still existed!

  • Grows on you

  • love love love love love!

  • Oh. They're British. No wonder they sounds like that. Fuck English media. Really. There's like the Spice Girls and Monty Python... and I honestly can't think of a single other thing that's actually good.

  • @Rayvn7 ok pal. we'll take back the beatles, rolling stones, led zeppelin, and black sabbath. you can keep elvis and dolly parton. byee!

  • @Rayvn7 roflmao!

  • @Rayvn7 i'd also like to add that this band isn't english

  • @Rayvn7

You like Spice Girls but you don't like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles or Led Zeppelin?

Oh, I checked your profile and you like N*sync... Forget it, you're a lost cause.

  • I'm looking for a copy of "Mclusky do Dallas" LP and can't find it. I need this.

  • @newwind07 It's easy to find.

  • A triumph in pocket drumming!

  • one of the best albums that I know, listening to it weekly since 8 years, a classic never gets boring

  • Psywar is another doc that popped up on YT on this exact issue, though I haven't watched it yet and can't promise it ain't pure crap. Probably good, though.

  • Alright, kiddies. You can find most anything on Google Video or YT. Start with Century of the Self, The Power of Nightmares, The Trap, Spin, Manufacturing Consent, War Made Easy, Buying the War (PBS), Weapons of Mass Deception, Orwell Rolls in His Grave, Outfoxed, etc. etc. If you actually READ, you can start with Le Bon and Trotter through Freud to Lippmann and Packard and McLuhan and Chomsky and Postman. Then watch Network and get back to me.

  • mclusky and falco are legends

  • You can't dissociate consumer culture and Sheepworld, dude. Further, you don't exactly need to be a conspiracist to figure out the tremendous influence corporations exert on governments worldwide nor a genius to understand the media's role.

But I'm not a troller nor a flamer and so I'll leave it there. A safe and happy holidays to you and yours.

  • @knicks9899

    god dammit.

  • i heard it in One Tree Hill <33

  • @BornToBeFreak so did I

  • hey kid. fuck you and your mother

  • About 57,000 of these views are probably mine..

  • Does anyone knoes the Guitar tab of this song ?

    I really love it !!♥

  • Wicked song

  • fucking right

  • What on earth possessed anyone to hit that dislike button?? It's beyond me..

  • @MyNirvana101 Maybe people are commenting to the video (or lack of), rather than the song itself?? Can't think of anything else, the song rocks! (Thx 0iaran0 for posting.)

  • This seems somehow more political than other Mclusky cuts I've heard. I interpret it pretty straightforwardly in this way: (y)our obsession with more and bigger and all that dick-measuring will lead us straight to the apocalypse.

Or I could be interpreting the song this way because that's what's actually happening, you fucking sheep. WTFU!

  • @knicks9899

dude shut up. you realise that every single person always talks about the "sheeple" and every single person thinks theyre one of the few individuals who arent part of the 'blind masses' right? anyone who says "wake the fuck up" is just arrogant

  • @stripedfeet I'm not trying to be self-righteous here. Most of us have some form of consumption that ain't the best. I smoke, I drink, I order take-out with all its waste. But I try.to consume consciously and not glorify stuff and excess as our popular culture does.

I'm also starting a think tank in rural Kansas studying simplicity and sustainability so I don't honestly feel like a member of the "blind masses.". And people do need to WTFU...what world are you living in? Sheepworld, no doubt.

  • @knicks9899

I didn't say a single thing about smoking or drinking or consumer culture what the shit

i meant the entire notion of the 'sheepworld' im only 40% sure youre not trolling me, but I promise you that there arent any government-corporate conspiracies ruling the world and the news isn't a brainwashing tool.

  • @knicks9899 how would that lead to the apocalypse? Wouldn't it just be the next step in our musical evolution? And how is that in any way political? GIVE ME ANSWERS

  • mmmmmmmmmmm!!!

  • fuckin great tune

  • What an absolutely wicked band. Typical of the UK that bands like this were never big. Carry on listening to the cribs and shit like that, you utter sedated Mcdonalds big brother pricks!

  • @nasferatu111 A+ sir

  • @nasferatu111 Any need really, chill pill? There are alot of bands that are awesome which never make it , especially in America, the UK is a very open market in comparison to the Hip hop/ manufactured pop genre that is dominant in the US

  • man thats a song....

  • Anyone else notice the Bill Hicks references in this song?

    Ah well.

    RIP Bill Hicks.

    RIP Mclusky.

  • fuckin great tune

  • These lyrics have drugs in them i can't stop listening

  • I'm curious. Does the title mean, "screw good intentions" or that their going to hell with good intentions? just wondering.

  • One Tree Hill has open my eyes to amazing music; this song included. All I can remember is Peyton playing this song over the phone to Nathan is protest. Legend!

  • i first heard this song on one tree hill, is that sad??

  • cap ou pas cap?...bitch!

  • Quick, Japandroids fucked up your song. GO GET REVENGE!!!

  • @armyofmeisbliss Yeah, and wait until you find out about their awful wreckage of 'Racer X'

  • japandroids did a hell of a good cover of this song, but this one is damn fine as well.

  • fuck yeah ive been looking for this song for years!!!!! woot wooot

  • there must be more than eight cars and one house in Ireland surely, there are 4,460,000 people living there

  • :D YEAH!

  • these guys are so freakin awseome

  • i totally love this song! <3 its awesome!

  • great

  • "When we gonna torch the restaurant?

    Sing it"

  • Ivan Illach wrote an essay called "To Hell With Good Intentions." I'm not sure if there's much of a relevance, but they seem to portray somewhat of a same message. Spitting in the face of conformity.

  • This band makes me strangely very happy, like this is us and fuck you because we won't be like you! I dunno it makes me spazzy in a good way! x]

  • This band hates us and it's never been so awesome.

  • Eight Cars

    And a house in Ireland.

    Beat that.

    Asshole.

  • looked up this song because Japandroids apparently cover it..It's addicting.

  • Is fuckwit?

  • no, seriously.

this song makes me want to drink heavily and break a bottle over someone's head.

    love it.

  • i know exactly what you're talking about ;-)

  • @kbernstrom no, seriously.

this song makes me want to drink heavily, smash a bottle over my OWN head, and then dive head first through the bar's huge glass window..... (in a good way....) its that awesome...

  • @kbernstrom - I feel exactly the same way. Actually, I doubt that anyone can listen to it without feeling exactly the same way.

  • "When you gonna torch the restaurant?"

Love it. Spits in the face of every sad prick who buys into the "keeping up with the Jones" rat race and it says that we know they'd break any one of their laws to keep their slice. Music with truth. Solid

  • this song makes me want to pillage

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • now this is what i'm fuckin talkin about

  • r0ck n r0ll

but then you are a cock so well done you for typing.

  • hey would you mind sending me this song please ?

i just love this song this band :D

  • Actually I did go out and buy: The difference between me and you is i'm not on fire. some good stuff there

  • who is mclusky?

  • Mclusky is the best band you've prolly never heard of. They're from Cardiff, Wales. They're broken up, but I'd be willing to bet that's a temporary thing...

  • They've been broken up for 4 years and FOTL seem to be more successful than McLusky, they could regroup but I reckon it would be Jon Chapple asking seeing as his band haven't been as successful as McLusky. I do think all 3 bands are awesome though.
