There was a time when I used to feel what Jessie felt. How life can sometimes be meaningless. And wanted to take my own life as well, but got helped. Even though I always believed in god and everything but I didn't feel him around me always when I was feeling like that. Doing much better now, Because I do have god on my side always. : )

I read this book in college and just bawled my eyes out. Two years later I developed a seizure disorder as well and take seizure meds. I later learned that some seizure meds cause suicidal thoughts and I cried even harder when I re-read the book. Some people are just SO sad and SO lost and just feel like there is no way out and feel killing themselves is the only way. But it's not, GOD is the ONLY way!
