Being iconic, well-known, notorious, whatever you want to call it, should never get in the way of figuring who is actually greatest, physically. While I agree Ali is STILL in the top 20, his being well-known does not make him greater than accomplished decathletes, etc., or other lessor-known athletes that do more than one thing well. And there have been boxers just as good and better than Ali, that did not have that charisma.
