So while fighting homelessness is a worthy cause, we should continue to fight for gay rights, and fight against any other injustices that there may be.

I don't claim to be an expert on the homeless issue in America, let alone Hindustan, but if I what I could to every homeless person I met, I would homeless AND ineffective in my position. Private individuals SHOULD give what they can, sympathetically and humbly.....not that's not my point. "This" project HERE is to raise awareness, and nothing else. Get it?

yeah, $42.00 is nothing for most people, but the goal of this project is not to distribute money, but to raise awareness. I work with the homeless full time and if i am CAUGHT giving my own money or property to them, I get to can kick it on down the road. I knew this coming into as well. The reason is this is an ocean and I am only a small part of a dedicated corp of folks. If we give something to one, it is unfair the thousand other we have to deny.. causes alot of hard feelings all around
