  • Hand me a cigarette - I came!

  • hm könnte saltos schlagen so happy

  • very nice to hear it in another style of playing. sounds nice

  • As good as it gets! Excellent.

  • very good lads!

  • Great - best march ever (even thought its German!) and so well played with traditional fifes and drums - brilliant.

  • i keep coming back to this video ,,,, superb march boys

  • That tune also sounds like Ca Ira

  • @MrCddlbunny no

  • @1812over2 :-(

  • smashing lads my favourite march

  • DIFFERENT CLASS....5 STAR BAND...NO SURRENDER!

  • "Don't call 'em'Huns'!!" heh heh..

  • Prussian are never truly gone are they :D

  • I would bet they play "Prussian Glory" because the Ulster Division probably fought the Prussians/Germans in the 1st or 2nd(or both)world wars? I'm in Canada and to this day our local regt plays this march during inspections when the Colours are on parade as a way to commemorate an action in WW1 against a Prussian Guard regt .

  • @langet46 Did they won the fight against the German Guard regiment?

    greets from germany ;)

  • @Tonoba

    Maybe no.

It's just a tribute to you, a great anthem and country.

  • @francieMilligan I stand corrected PS I didn't mean it as a dig but an innocuous comment. PPS I'm still puzzled why the UVF Band are playing Prussian Glory, care to answer?

  • Absolutely Outstanding, Fucking Superb, Perhaps One Of The Best Bands I Know Of

  • In the realm of my long, long, life I will always be puzzeled about how the Orange Lodge got 'Prussian Glory'.

  • @mepjohnson its not the orange lodge who has prussian glory !!

its the band thats playing it, its a famous piece of music and the band does it justice, perhaps you should learn about bands and lodges before saying things like that as a band and a lodge are 2 completely different things

  • Richtig gut!

  • Chilean Army

    watch?v=ZdSZcYUbwTE

  • I'm rather used to hear this tune played by german brass bands but this fife and drum version sounds nice as well.

  • The Lockmarsch sounds cool! Sounds kinda ironic that they are playing this tune somehow but I love it! :)

  • This Isnt In England.. Its In Northern Ireland!

  • very well played !!!! greeetings from Germany ....

  • Beautifully played, and the Bandenweiler tooo!

  • Its great they play this fine piece of military music in england. once blucher and wellington and their men fought side by side in one of the most epic battles in history.....and there is nothing wrong in playing this....great performance btw.

  • The Royal family is Hanoverian, not Prussian. William IV was the last king of both Hanover and the UK. After Hanover sided with Austria in the Austro-Prussian War, In 1866 Prussia seized Hanover and overthrew the King Of Hanover. Queen Victoria's oldest daughter married into the Prussian royal family, but always hated Prussia and everything Prussian. It's just a good sounding march.....

  • Hanover is the most boring city in germany. hanover sucks cologne rules

  • it's because the British Royal family are practically Germans

  • The Germans and the English even had the same national Anthem for a while... God save the queen or Heil dir im Siegerkranz... :)

  • way did they play a german marsh in england?

  • Why not?

The British are very fond of some German marches.

  • Because it rockz

  • The queens german ! they even play this at the end of trooping the colour , just to keep a smile on the old girls face lol!

  • @spursloyal71

they really play prussian glory at the end of trooping the colour? never heard it ^^

  • @ibiza4ever1 It's used as the Guards re-form/close up for the march off from Horse guards.

  • Very professional Corps of Drums, and not the easiest of tunes to play correctly either.

    Bex (Ex Tenor Drummer)

  • best version iv every heard played on a flute and a highly professional band as well, extremely well done

  • First Class FGAU
