I really wonder, where you went to school... In our science classrooms we get the models, and we get to do experiments to test those models. The observations you do, during experiments or simply in our daily life are the facts, the hypotheses, the theories and pretty much everything in science is based on that. Ok, so you have seen something, fine. If God has revealed himself to you, that's great. But why should I believe, based on what happend to you? If God wanted to save me, and wanted to turn me into a believer he should give me the same kind of evidence that you got. Revalation is only good for the person who gets it, anectodal evidence (in the same way as an old book full of storys) doesn't count as evidence.

That actually sounds highly dubious and slightly ludicrous to me. Species evolve primarily due to mutations (and the environmental pressures which select for them). These mutations aren't exactly recorded in some strand of DNA; variations in the DNA (specifically the chromosomes during meiosis) are what cause the changes. In actual fact they aren't rewinding anything, they're just genetically modifying the embryo of a chicken so that the beak does not develop. If God wanted to save me, and wanted to turn me into a believer he should give me the same kind of evidence that you got. That actually sounds highly dubious and slightly ludicrous to me. Species evolve primarily due to mutations (and the environmental pressures which select for them). These mutations aren't exactly recorded in some strand of DNA; variations in the DNA (specifically the chromosomes during meiosis) are what cause the changes. I'd really like to see a source for that.

Thanks, and an interesting article. It was the way you phrased it that had me dubious. In actual fact they aren't rewinding anything, they're just genetically modifying the embryo of a chicken so that the beak does not develop. Whether the snout appears as a consequence of that suppression or if they've somehow switched on genes for a snout as well remains unclear.
Reminds me of the interesting (but a bit grotesque) images of mice with human ears grafted on to their backs.

The distance between earth and sun is 93 million miles a "few" miles or even a few million miles wouldn't make it impossible for us to live. @radioactiveego It is a fact there are about 20 numerical discrepancies between the Samuels, the Kings
and the Chronicles. Why? It seems to be a problem with numbers. The sopherim, instead of
writing out the numbers completely, would just write a letter, like ALEPH and include dots over it.
An ALEPH with 2 dots indicated 1000. But over time, the manuscript became worn, brittle or
moth-eaten, so the dots were hard to distinguish.

You need to go to some third world countries and be awakened to the supernatural. Too american minded. You cannot deny the obviously evil and good when your in these poor countries where you see the supernatural happen

So how to you explain the miracles that happen today in the name of Jesus Christ. If your wrong you will really be bummed out. What a major disappointment to die and realize there is a God and I rejected him because I never tried to ask him into my life.
