spudgunuk that is a retarded question this game came out before sonic CD sonic CD used same sound effect for jump.

@pulsar678 It isn't retarded... the emulator has a PSG audio channel enhancement that gives it the Sonic CD sound. The basic sound is the same, but this enhancement gives the jump sound that distinct sound the Genesis games don't have.
