Because the perpetrator is white, the violence against him is okay. Please remember what happens when a black man gets the same treatment, Los Angeles was turned upside down and burned to the ground, costing tax payers 1.3 billion in damages. You would never see a black man arrested in such a brutal way and for good reason, white people don't fight back nor defend their race, black people do. That's the difference and why we condone and approve of the actions taken against this man in the video.

Black people are much more likely to get hurt and hurt worse than white people by police. This video is violent only because the arrestee willed it.  The cops are always going to use more force than the resistance displayed to stop them. Get over it, or stop resisting. Court is the place for that.

first of all, this video provides zero concrete evidence as to how the incident started, why the police did it. sure it does look a lot like brutality, and I'm sure it's a definite possibility.

however the idea that because of this, ALL cops are "monsters"? don't be ridiculous. think. just as there are different types of citizens, there are different types of cops. everyone is making huge generalizations.

If you guys knew anything about this incident you would know it had nothing to do with jaywalking. This was during the headbangers ball, the management called PD for a fight when the two men involved were pulled outside the guy on the ground took a swing at the first officer (the one hitting and kicking him) and struck him in the throat (which is potentially lethal). For those of you who havent experienced that, try it sometime you'd be pretty pissed too.

I actually know that guy who got arrested on the car with the black bandanna around his neck. He's actually a pretty nice guy, and doesn't usually dress like that. He told me this story. It really was for nothing. Just throwing their arms up at a passing car that they didn't know was a cop. Mafioso criminal cops--like I said. Wow I feel silly for not believing him.
