Won't play the smartass since you said you don't enjoy your HUcaseal but you could take with any gun for higher distance (farer then the Mechguns). And you should try to set a Freeze Trap before you attack with Chain Sawd to regenerate your HP. Additionally you can shoot your trap with the gun so it get activated earlier. :)
Jesus I didn't expect that you got as offline player already such good items for your HUcaseal you are similar to me. :P But I hunted together with friends all time. Actually I'd try to get a Kasami Bracer [Shield (drop at puple canune 1/~3000)] or a Standstill Shield [also shield (drops easily at Mil Lily in Ult with Viridia char)]. Just use the pipe trick which you already know I guess.
The quest is amazing for grinding due to the amount of enemies you can find. But great for Skylys especially. (Chain Sawd and Red Sword with Hit % pl0x.)

I don't think I ever got too far with a FOmar, sadly. FOmarls are fairly fun though. Highest level character I have is my RAcaseal, Flora, at level 144 or 145 on Blue Burst.
In my opinion, melee Forces are one of the hardest classes to develop and put effort into, but they can easily become one of the greatest classes in PSO due to a large variety of strategies on monsters and allies. However, that role easily overwhelms you early on. Strangely enough, my first melee Force was a FOnewm on the Dreamcast v1. Hahaha.

Nice video, i really liked it, especially the varaety of weapons you used, i guess in time you will find better gear and weapons.

Yeah, I never really played seriously on my FOmar. Threw on a few melee weapons on him, and he still hits lower than my level 14 HUcast. XD

Melee Forces are also the funnest. :3
HUmars are easier, but they're noobish. ._.
Besides, I like arcane might rather than weapon might.
