@akira357 I think it does, by going to Vietnam he would not have risked anything. By refusing his risked his entire career. If he had served he would still never have been in danger of being killed. Therefore his option had the toughest outcome on himself. If he was a pussy he would have sold out his beliefs gone to a glorified holiday, most drafted celebs were serving outside of Vietnam altogether in peaceful areas. He was not afraid of death, and it was in no way an `excuse`
