Let's not bullshit here OK? 170 INDICATED is approx the top speed of pretty much all 600 bikes. Now when I say INDICATED, just cause your speedo is showing 170, doesn't mean you're going 170 but somewhere closer to 160 or less. I tested 175 on my gixxer 1000, and GPS showed me top out at 165. According to cycle world the top speed of a STOCK 07 zx6r is 153 MPH. I dunno, maybe Kawasaki decided to make their NEWER bikes shittier than your 01, but somehow I fucking doubt it.

That was just from Cycle World, not me. I had an 04 R6 that I took up to 171 INDICATED with prob about enough room to take it to 175 or so. I'd put the top speed of that bike at somewhere around 160-165. In any case, a 600 can't pull 200 ACTUAL MPH without HEAVY mods. Won't even get close. The top speed of liter bikes is 190 or so with a bigger engine and less aggressive gearing. How do you expect a 600 to even get close? Your 01s speedo was prob worse than the new ones anyway
