It's interesting that Spanish is so fast most of the time. Latin in the Roman Republic obviously used many registers, such as the fast one among the hurrying and insistent vulgares (to use but a small selection of reasons for speed), and the bearable speed of poetry recorded in SERMO QVOTIDIANVS.

I think people should avoid learning Mexico Spanish because it sounds kinda bad and is often incorrect. It's like the English equivalent of the hick thing where people use words like ain't and ya'll. If your going to learn Spanish you should learn Spain Spanish. Or better yet learn Japanese because it's way more fun than Spanish, I can say that because I have studied both languages fairly extensively.

I'm a Native Spanish Speaker, and I can assure that Non native spanish speakers speaking Spain Spanish is the weirdest thing you can ever hear. It sounds so unnatural. Please, learn Spain Spanish only if you're going to live there. Please!

hey, that is very Rude, i myself love the USA, being American. but still Spanish is one of the most important languages Especially for Americans. for buisness reasons All americans should learn Spanish and French. its only common sense. we are borderd by both Canada and Mexico. English/French Canada and Spanish Mexico. and in the field of science your always going to be working with Foreign scientist. so you should learn some European languages. DUH

Hi Matthew, my name is also Matthew by the way. I was pleasantly surprised to see you do all this nice work. I myself do it as a hobby and am into soundwaves , text to speech, that sort of stuff, It's fairly complicated and the technical stuff to reproduce soundwaves on your screen doesn't do here what it does when one uses the program as you see it on YOUR computer screen. For me it's more a hobby than anything else.
