If I am reading it correctly, @0:47 till the end of the video, the LED display above the two men reads "not in shake-proof mode". So, what you are seeing is that somebody was tuning down the magnitude behind the scene. So, it wasn't really the THK system in action.

This is a great gadget, especially after all of the recent seismic activity in the world. There was an earthquake here in Southern California a couple of weeks ago and this would have been great to have! When do they come out and how much will they cost?
