interesting that people are arguing over a part of a Mr. Show episode. Really?!
This show was amazing, but the skits all lead into each other and set each other up for the next skit. You should watch the whole episodes for the full effect.
And, of course, WHO gets it in the noggin with a brick? Poor Bob.
There is a scene in A Hard Day's Night where The Beatles are trying to dodge scary teenage girls by faking going into one limo and sneaking into a different one.
just going out on a limb here, but it seems this sketch is a parody of 'Kiss Me' by Sixpence None the Richer (which would've come out around the time this was on t.v.)
Go watch that music vid and tell me if I'm right.
lol, I remember seeing this when it originally aired - I must have been around 13 at the time, and I couldn't stop laughing, especially at the 'Futtbuckers' part.
You got me, I'm not a professional editor and did this 2 years ago on Gnome with absolutely no idea what I was doing.
That said, the context is fine. If you wanted to put absolute context into Mr. Show clips, you'd have to put half episodes since their sketches segue into each other. Plus, it's apparent they're being chased by angry women. No additional context is needed.

WRONG. You took out the most important part of this sketch--the part that sets up the chasing scene..which is the beginning of the show (another 2-3 minutes). Without the beginning of this sketch people are confused about what the women are so angry about and the sketch is no longer ironic but simply a parody..so yah your editing sucks you should change it and put it back up.
Actually thegreatestbak you're wrong. Anyone who is a true fan of Mr.Show knows exactly what is going on in this video clip and looked it up for a specific reason. Stop being a flaming idiot and keep your problems to yourself.

what kind of douchebag tells someone to shut up for sharing their opinion? Do you have anything to contribute? Why are you even involving yourself in this argument? How about you lick the crusty poop off my anus and stop butting in? Who the fuck do you think you are?
@thegreatestbak Right... so many silly points here. Your fear of the possibility that "the sketch is no longer ironic but simply a parody" makes you sound seriously smug. So what if it's a parody in this context? You want context, watch the episode. It'll be even more fun the second time. Furthermore, what about people (like me) who know what the scene is and what's going on, but just want to watch the song (you know, the parody bit)? Do I need to watch the into every time?
My favorite part of this incredibly funny sketch is trying to make connections and pick out the little details between the nicely adapted and accurate touches of this spoof song, and the real Beatles songs that inspired them! So far, I've got...
Harmonica Part - inspired by "I Should Have Known Better"
OMG, I've watched this so many times and just now noticed Futtbuckers. I'm in tears.

Haha... yeah, OK.
Put up the other version. I'll give it a 5-star rating simply for being two good, tangentially related Mr. Show sketches.

k i just did. By the way one is almost necessary to the other...they are not merely tangential. This is one long sketch IMO.
