@makealotofcake You don't know what you're talking about, they're ROMAN NUMERALS they don't work like the arabic number system. The main units are I(one), V(five), X(ten), L(fifty), C(100), D(500), and M(1000). If a smaller unit is in front of a larger one, it subtracts it's own amount from the latter numeral. For example IV is four, IX is ten, XL is 40, XC is 90, CD is 400, and so on and so on. I'm not a wiki, so go google it yourself if you still think you're right.

Took me ages to find diamonds then ages to make 30 bookshelves and more ages to get to level 50, and when i enchant my diamond pickaxe with level 50 enchantment i get what? Efficiency III, Unbreaking III. I'm disgusted and probably won't play minecraft for a while.

@AandBrcool2000 get the diamond sword. A decent enchantment level takes ages to get and it's hard to stay alive that long. Only a very high enchanted iron sword would beat a diamond and it's hard to get that in the first place without a diamond sword :)

Thumb this up so new folk can see it. If you look at the enchanting table, there is a green number at the bottom right of each of the three choices. That green number represents what level -you- have to be from gaining experience orbs, in order to purchase that enchantment. So if you see a 31, you personally need to be level 31 to purchase the enchantment.

There is also a translation guide for people who want to translate what the weird sentences say. You can find it on the minecraft wiki.
