i HATE how she sings live! she tries too hard to reach the high notes but she always ends up hurting my ears (and my feelings...). Too bad, GREAT song and amazing performance (except of course for the last part... which sadly, is the best part of the song)

Seriously, some of the people in the meida need to actually pay attention to the things they're trying to criticize, and be realistic and fair. This, I think, will go down as one of the most artistic songs of her entire career.

I have yet to hear a flawless live version of Sober. This one came astoundingly close though, if it weren't for the final "three months" it would have beat the Leno live version. However, I will say that it is better than the Leno version in every other aspect (I have not heard her do the verses and bridge this well live before) but since the "three months" climax is the best part, her voice breaking here drops this version down a point.
