  • Yes. It's a bodhran drum.

  • Thats a Bodran right?

  • Just an opinion. Luke should accent on a triplet rhythm and not try and carve it up so much it lends for a nice flowing feel and lets the fiddle breathe a little.

  • Well done !

  • extremly gaill

  • Great Fiddle Music. Now this video takes me back to Ireland. Went there on Vacation a few months ago. THANKS for SHARING!!!

  • @UrFiddlerFriend You got to vacation in Ireland? Talk about the luck o' the Irish! If I were a few years younger, a few pounds lighter, and in a better general state of health than I'm in now, I'd be off to the Emerald Isle in a trice. (I'd probably pay County Sligo a visit to look into my family line --maternal side-- a bit, among other things.) Btw, you're spot on. This IS fine music!

  • That Luke is a ROCKER and soooo cute. Bev is totally awesome!!! I love it.

  • Puirseil's is the place to be on Wednesday nights. Great food and great music.

  • Bev and Luke are two of the best traditional musicians AND historians that I have come across in many a year. Not only do the walk the walk...but they talk the talk and teach you how the music and instruments came about. If you ever have a chance to see them perform.....DO IT!! You won't be disappointed!

    "Mule" Symons

  • WOW=Sensational. I bet that bodhran player can play the bones and spoons too. The Fiddlewoman is right on.
