  • Really heart touching song. and the dance is awsome. love this song. Thanks a lot for upload this song. Thanks again to the uploader. She is the best actress in Bollywood. She deserve the best actress award in India.

  • Malayalam : Shobana's beautiful expressions and dance

Bollywood : Not scary, but the music was beautiful

Tamil : Music was well filmed, and scary [Jyothika's eyes o.o]

Aapthimetra [ddnt watch the vid >.<]

  • i mamurized this all song when i waz 7 nd i still sing this song

it is still my favorite song

    :)

  • ragini danced better than her!!!!!!!

  • I like bollywood movies, I just have problems with the dramas especially because they always try too hard and it doesn't look natural! It annoys me alot! SOrry for all those who like the dramas too, I like them too but at times I'm like "what the hell is this?"

  • well it didnt crave the scary part that i was craving for but i loved the song and the great preformance

  • Yeah, um, Bollywood sucks at depicting legends.

  • what the fuck is this???????????????

  • Stupid bollywood. Morons don't know how to make a proper movie. This looks like a joke.

Learn originality and acting from south Indian movie industry. Idiots. This looks like a parody of the real Chandramukhi . What a complete waste of film reel.

Where is the emotion? Where is the zeal in the lady? She doesn't look possessed at all.

Go back to remaking hollywood movies bollywood that's all your good for.

  • @itnaganid666 alrightt calm downn...this isn't all that bad...maybe both jyothika and shobana fulfill the role better but vidya balan isn't all the bad. Anyway, this song is better than both tamil and malu movie combined hands down. and please i'm a south indian but i love bollywood wayyyy better than malu...tamil idk cuz i haven't watched that many yet. The only thing i love watching are the funny movies but otherwise they have wack stories and they deff need get more NEW actors and actress

  • The actresses from Chandramukhi & Manichitrathazhu look more creepier then this actress and really fullfil the 'possessed' state

  • vidya is not so scary just have a look of jothika in tamil that one is really scary !

  • i have to say i love vidya and i think her acting is ridiculously excellent but i never thought of her as a good dancer.......until i saw this movie...holy flip she ROCKED this song!!!!!!

  • i love this movie so much like watched umm 50 times? lol love this song nd vidya and akshay

  • this movie was scary.. like she looks so creepy!!

  • cete musiue est tres jolie

  • cete musiue est tres jolie

  • esa es linda

  • me gusta esa cansion mucho

  • its an amazing song..... but raa raa in the tamil version gives more of the "possession of the ghost" feeling.

  • This dance is not KATHAK but BHARATANATYAM as you can also see by the dress..its worn by bharatanatyam dancers kathak was usely performed by muslim moghul dancers and its much slower than bharatanatyam and kathak dancers wear long ghagra's.. in bharatanatyam you can see Shiva pose's ... even I can tell this as a non Indian.. I went to bharatanatyam classes myself and I'm Turkish

  • @GoddessDusk

The movie's name is Bhool Bhulaiya...

    Gr8 movie...

  • any one know where i can watch this movie? I wanna know the storyline!

  • @GoddessDusk i duno where u can watch it, but basically its about a lady who has a case of split personality, nd ironically she ends up living at a place where they believe there's a spirit of a "tortured lover/dancer" trapped, nd they try to solve the mystery... : )

its an amazinggg movie! a must watch : )

  • man she seriously scared the hell out of me

  • what form of indian classical dance is this? I

  • @AashiquiDevi i believe its Kathak : )

  • @luckiishah15 It IS Kathak, Vidya mentioned in an interview that she underwent a training for some weeks or months.

  • @AashiquiDevi

The question you have asked has sparked up a debate on this thread.Well, even a rookie can say that this is not Kathak. As Xxarjunaxx has pointed out,the costume for Kathak is very different ,and this costume which Vidya has worn is 90% Bharathanatyam costume and 10% Odissi costume. As far as the style is concerned,it's bharathanatyam .Kathak is slower than bharathanatyam and has got very soft movements where as bharathanatyam is fast ,vigorous, and difficult dance form.

  • She is fantastic!

  • No wonder Tamil people have no girlfriends and shii man. They got nothing to do other than talk about how better their movies/songs are. Even though they're not. Every Rajnikanth movies is remake of Amitabh movie. Losers man. Go find some girls or other excitement in your lives. Idiots.

  • @hemantmehndi .Vidya Balan is Tamil/Malayali.Vineeth,the other dancer,is a Malayali.

The male singer,M G sreekumar, is a Malayali. And the Malayalam version of this movie is the best.

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI Well I agree that Shobana is beautiful. But malayalam movies have a bunch of overweight people in them. I do agree that malayalam people come up with best stories in South but its just that their actors are fat .... ok ..... superfat... and production is low class. Otherwise stories like Hera Pheri, Hulchul are pretty good (remakes of malayalam movies) and better than the telugu pokkiri and tamil singham which are not that impressive.

  • @hemantmehndi

Malayalam comes with the best stories in India.Look at the national awards list.

And as far as the size of actors are concerned,we concentrate more on acting and less on how they look, unlike our Hindi counterparts.

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI lol.. well if you're talking India then Bengalis and Biharis come up with the best stories really. Look at the quality of movies though. Satyajit Ray's created Alien, and spielberg made ET out of that story. His movies have been identified on a Global scale. And all the great stories from our past are by Biharis. Since when do malayalam people have good acting? No one looks like an actor and on top who really acts? Malayalam has the best writers in South... and ENOUGH!! lol.

  • @hemantmehndi That's because you haven't seen enough Malayalam movies.Contemporary Tamil film industry is very innovative and better than Bengali film industry.Adood Gopalakrishnan is a better director than Satyajith Roy.Bihar!!!!!...Noway...I think, you are sedated.

Malayalam,Bengali,Tamil, and Marathi are the best film industries in the country when it comes to quality movies.Kannada is also fine.

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI

It's foolish to expect a neutral stand from you as your comments on "Tamilians and girlfriends" have revealed how narrow minded and dogmatic you are.

  • You seem to be a bigot. There is no special looks for an actor.People come in all sizes and shapes,so do actors, because they are supposed to portray the lives of these people. And as far as actresses are concerned,I find Malayalam actresses the best among India.Look up on the Google to know how many National awards Malayalam movie stars have won.Maybe, that'll open up your mind.

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI well the way you seem to be defending this ... you seem to be a 50 kgs. overweight. Just google malayalam fat actors and youll know that even other South industries call them fat uncles. Relax man .... noone even know what malayalam industry is. Get outta your imagination and hop on a treadmill ASAP. oh yeh ... find a girl as well. lol. TC man.

  • @hemantmehndi

Well,I cannot find a word to describe your attitude :a mix of snobbery, jingoism, chauvinism ,and most importantly STUPIDITY. We don't care if they are fat as far as they can act, which you northies should learn from us.Because, most of your actors are worth nothing.I live in Mumbai ,and most of the people ,here, knows what Malayalam industry is ,and holds high respect for it as well. And,as far as getting a girl for myself is concerned,I have a boyfriend already. Thank You.

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI Even other southies call your people Africans. I have a telugu friend who believes that Kerala people are actually africans by lineage. lol. Who are you anyway? Once actors gain fame, they never work in malayalam. Why isn't asin working in malayalam industry? Because other than writers . it is all shit. Now stop boring me and go on a date already. Holyyy .. your boyfriend needs to love you. Its obvious you're bored of him or he knows by now that hez with an internet RETARD.

  • @hemantmehndi

Well, you are taking the discussion to a new level. So,finally it's clear;your problem is with dark skin colour which shows how racist you are.If people say that we have African lineage, why should we have any problem with that?

The royal families of South East Asia have got Tamil lineage. And,yeah, about Malayalis, our population is a mix of Dravidian,Jewish,Arab and African.Every human race evolved from Africans,so your point doesn't make any sense.

  • @hemantmehndi

I have got many Telugu friends. In fact, most of my friends are Telugus ,and they have never told me anything like that. Moreover,They have always spoken high of Keralites because most of their teachers were Malayalis, and I respect them too for the wonderful culture they have got.I laughed after reading your "Asin" comment because Asin worked only one movie in Malayalam ,and that also as a supporting actress ,but now she is planning to do two movies in Malayalam.

  • @hemantmehndi

Well, how do you define an internet retard-defending oneself on YouTube -makes one retarded?

My boyfriend loves me more than anything and so do I.So,shut that filthy mouth(or fingers) of yours and talk about things that matter.I think you have got nothing better to say ,and that's why,you are coming up with all these crap.Good day and get a life.

  • @hemantmehndi

Now,since you have started making personal remarks on me,I don't expect even a modicum of decency from you.For your information, people from Jharkhand,Orissa and the whole Eastern mineral belt have Austro-african origins, but I find them very beautiful.North-eastern part of India is basically of Asian origins.Twenty percent of the population has got Dravidian origins (I find them the most beautiful.after all,I'm one among them).People in the North west have Greece and Persian genes.

  • I love this song,

  • ye song dil ko chuta he

  • I think this is the 50th time I've watched this video this week... I can't stop! Her expressions are so beautiful, the singing is like cold water falling over rocks.

  • Jyothika was far better than Vidya Balan.

  • @narenkeshav shobana takes its allllll .................u cnt compare no other remake to the originallllll

  • My God! From 3:00 to 6:01 is ...beautiful...

  • Although, the song is very nice!!!

  • love the tune when the king arrives love this song. i have been listening to it all day long

  • Guys...i am a tamilian and stay in mumbai so to be very very honest shobna and saundarya rocked.....jo was ok and vidya wasss total crap............the best was the malyalam version and all the rest were copied the last being the bollywood version.....BOLLYWOOD SEEMS TO BE COPYING EVERYTHING NOW A DAYS.....WE HAVE MADE IT A HABBIT..

  • @Ani4Abhi both shobana and soundarya r professional bharatnatyam dancers... where in tamil they've made a mumbai born chapati eating girl dance bharatnatyam on par with pro dancers. Jo version is my fav... telugu second.. btw im frm AP

  • @Ani4Abhi I'm a North Indian and I agree w/u!!!!! Shobhna was just splendid and there is no match!!!! But does it matter if we r from the east, west south or north???? We should all be happy 2 just watch our Indian leading ladies to be so damn talented!!! But, like u said, Shobhana not only rocked but I believe also won the National award for the Malayalam version!!!!

  • @sindahouse1 ----Now thats what i call a intellectual mind......well said sir/ madam ( sry couldn't guess Ur sex seeing the name)....

  • @Ani4Abhi Thanks!!! I'm glad that we can both admire true talent!!!

  • this scene totally belonged to the Tamil version. Rajini rocked this scene as Vettayan. Compared to that, this version is rubbish.

  • they used two malayalees to remake one of the best mallu movies ever. but even then, manichitrathazu was so much better. shobhana <3

  • bangalan teri tuwii kaalann

  • manichitrathazhu was a awesome movie..only .SHOBANA can do dis role vidya & jyothika is just a $%^%^&^&*78 d hindi & tamil versin is d worst !!!!!!

  • see friends all the other dancers were very nice coz they are succesful actors while vidya is still struggling a bit and she has tried her best very nice vidya shreya ur voice is the best of all shreya rocks!!

  • yup... i agree completely.. the one in malayalam "oru murai vanthu" is the best.. wid superb acting.. HATS OFF TO SHOBHANA.. she surely deserved the awards and the accompanied praise. :) :)

  • i accidentally went to see this movie. The kids wanted to see some cuckoo movie, so I bought a ticket to see this, which was playing at the same time as their movie. I was so thrilled by it. It was scary.. eerie, suspenseful, funny, and a feast for the eyes. Loved this dance scene. Extremely well done. I really enjoyed this movie.

  • totally didnt see that ending coming... at first i was so happy, song sounded so nice, then that just...out of the nowhere...argh! ruined my day...

  • Esta secuencia me encanta. Y el final es... ¿Cómo dices que dijiste? ALECHUCINANTE. Aunque si toda esta secuencia la hubiera protagonizado también Hannah Montana, hubiera sido todavía mejor, hahahah...

  • @rajrocks6 go and see malayalam version

  • this movie's a copy, all priyadarshan knows is to b bloody copy!

  • i've seen all the vesrions of this movie... telugu, tamil, malayalam and hindi. to be honest the tamil version of the movie was better, close next to that was malayalam. this version doesnt even come close to the original.

  • @bennyagp ..Hmm original version is malayalam and it is the better...arrey how u judged that tamil version was good!!!..no one with brains wont say that tamil was better at all!!!!!!!!

  • @XXXMuSiCMAnIaXXXI no one with brains eh? :) Then I still think Tamil version was better of all and the highest grosser.

  • @bennyagp ...it doesnt matter if a film is highest grosser or not pather panchali by satyajith roy wast a highest grosser or anything.....chandramukhi was hit coz of rajni magic otherwise The film lacks everything they destroyed a beautiful concepyt..Only good thing was ra ra song and vineeth's dance

  • i love this song!!!!

  • wonderful

  • Yuck!!, the worst performance I have ever seen. She can't even dance and absolutely no expressions. Guys, look at Soundarya in Apthamitra and Jyothica in similar role in Tamil. Their dance and expressions are awesome!!.

  • @dmsagarphys ha ha jyothika ???? well have u watched the original malayalam movie buddy?

  • @francishoney I Agree Man Tamil was shit Hindi was much better malayalam the best

  • @dmsagarphys ...mm...soundarya's dance is even worse....and tamil movie...he he...Ohh god..plz dnt say abt that hindi is also not that good. They made a serious film into a comedy film...malayalam version is superbb

  • i wonder how Madhuri dance this song?

  • the best is "Manichitrathazhu" in malayalam. Shobana kills dis song search Shobana - Manichitrathazhu.

  • i love tht singer s ghosal

  • LMFAO @ the end. he must be like.. khamosh gustakh hahahah oh my they freaking ruined the song at end.

  • Question: When the couple dances together, the words "gagamimidadasasa" :) etc... Is it actutal words or is it a sound that goes with the music, kind of like the american skat?

  • Question: When the couple dances together, the words "gagamimidadasasa" :) Is it actutal words or is it a sound that goes with the music, kind of like the american skat?

  • @Crazy8er888 i think its kinda like both. its a bit like skatting, but its more of a verbal beat? it helps the dancers keep in tune with whatever move their supposed to execute.

  • @Ameiaru ..indian classical songs are also based on octaves like do re la ma....in west..iz sa ri ga ma pa da ni sa....

  • @Crazy8er888 Actually it is different combination of notes of Indian classical music.

Sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa (Indan classic "sargam")

do re mi fa so la ti do (Western classic)

  • @TheAnuragsingh Thanks for the infomation!

  • @Crazy8er888 Sa, Ri , Ga, Ma , Pa, Da, Ni, Sa are the syllables used to represent the octave in Classical Indian music. Like the Do-Re-Mi system in Western music.

  • @Crazy8er888 All classical compositions are based on varied combinations of the notes Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa. A defined combination of these 'swaras' is known as a raga. Every classical composition has a raga that it is based on. It's a huge study. You can never 'complete' it.

  • Nice Song...

  • normally girls r better at indian classical dance but this guy is way better than vidya.obviously he must have got trained for much more years to achieve this much perfection.he's every expression and gesture is perfect

  • @romil008 hes a professional dancer + actor :)

  • @romil008 yea, he's a pro; i looked it up and Vidya needed special odissi lessons for this movie...

  • @romil008 ..His name is vineeth and he is well trained in bharathanatyam..he is also an actor mostly in malayalam movies

  • yes..someone can..shes called jothika..

someone who can actually dance..and act..

  • Vidya's performance is awesome but how can we forget the singers who sung this song so bveautifully. I simply adore everything in this song; the signing, the music, the dance, the inside-palace set and everything.

  • ultimate you can't get better in these day's of music....

heads of to the music director and the music arranger of this song....

  • First time I saw the scene in the movie 0:47, I got scared as a little girl, it was crazy, I had nightmares after.. That face came so unexpected. Real talk
